Die Wohnung kann ich nur jedem empfehlen!

Die Lage war außerordentlich gut - man kann alles super zu Fuß erreichen. Direkt vor der Unterkunft gibt es viele nette Lokale. Der Empfang von Sébastian war sehr nett und wir haben uns wirklich willkommen gefühlt - danke dafür! :-)

Am Abend ist die Wohnung sehr hellhörig und in Nizza wird viel gefeiert! :-) Wir haben aber trotzdem gut geschlafen.

Steep stairs, no elevator. We didn’t get baby bedding for the baby’s bed, even though we were promised one. The baby had to sleep on the sofa bed and fell out the bed. The owner was not interested in resolving the situation.

There was no internet and the TV was not available. When we contacted the host they said yes it's a problem and the operator is due in one months time. We should have been told. Also the sockets in the kitchen for electric equipment were not working. Very very disappointed and was too expensive when no internet & TV

Rozkládací gauč jako postel hodně nepohodlný. Chtělo by to pořídit nový. Televizi jsem si musel opravit a aktualizovat na novou verzi, aby vše fungovalo. Závěsy nad vchodovými dveřmi byly rozbité, ale to spraví jeden šroubek. Spíše detaily, které se dají vyřešit během jednoho dne.

Freundliche Wohnung mitten in der belebten Altstadt

Sehr freundliche helle Wohnung mitten in der Altstadt. Das Apartment bietet alles, was man für ein paar angenehme Tage in Nizza braucht. Zentraler geht’s nicht. Modernes geräumiges Bad, bequeme Bettaustattung, Air Condition, moderne gut ausgestattete Küche mit Nespressomaschine. Sébastien hat uns sehr nett empfangen und die Kommunikation sowie Checkin und Checkout waren total unkompliziert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Negative:
Wir waren nur zu zweit, deshalb haben uns die Schränke gereicht. Aber es gibt nicht so viel Stauraum, da die Schränke und Schubladen z.T. mit Sachen wie Decken und Putzmaterial belegt sind.

Excellent location. Good size flat. Very welcoming with some presents on arrival. The host was very kind and was always prompt in replying which we really appreciated. Very close to the beach and there are so many good restaurants and cafes nearby. Sareya market is just a second away and we were extremely happy with the location.
Kitchen was fully equipped apart from a chopping board which may be the case that I just couldn't find it. There was a small washing machine and drying hanger which were very handy since we stayed for 7 nights. There was a good size picnic sheet which was very nice to use when we went for a picnic on the beach. It was actually sticky so I had to wipe it once though it's better than nothing!

I was quite surprised that I had to pay deposit of EUR500 on top of the accommodation fee which I didn't see when I booked the property.
There was no Wifi at all. There was a router but it was just way too weak to even watch TV, leave aside uploading photos onto SNS. I had to buy data online.
Unfortunately, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable with the mattress being too soft and not on the even level.
When I used the washing machine, it started smelling quite badly of drainage and I think it's coming from the sink because the pipe must be connected. I think this needs to be fixed.. The sinks in the bathroom were quite mouldy..
We were a family of 3 and the shower gets cold by the time the 3rd person is taking shower and we were told it's because of the old building with the size of the tank which was understandable.
I was sleeping in the living room sofa bed and I heard drunk people shouting or screaming or even singing every night in the middle of the night which was so noisy that it woke me up every time.. My daughters were sleeping in a bed room and they said they didn't hear it so it could be because of the room. The bed in the bed room was very comfortable.
Despite the amazing location, good size flat and the good host, there were some things we disliked which we couldn't just let it go for the price we have paid for the accommodation hence the 7.

Fantastic place to stay! Right in the heart of Old Town Nice, and many restaurants just outside the place. Benoit was very responsive, and Sébastien was very thorough at check in. They even provided a gift upon arrival, which was a very thoughtful touch. The hospitality was impeccable. We hope to stay at this place sometime again soon!

Très bon séjour dans cet appartement, lumineux, agréable et conforme à la description. Le logement est situé en plein vieux Nice, donc beaucoup de charme, de restaurant et de jolies balades. Excellent emplacement pour visiter Nice à pieds. A 5 min de la mer. Petit bémol sur le bruit notamment la nuit car le quartier est très bruyant et les couchages donnent sur rue.
Enfin nous avons été très bien accueillis et Sébastien a été très disponible et flexible à l’arrivée et au départ. Merci encore.

L’appartamento è anche più grande di quello che si evince dalle foto, pulito e dotato di qualsiasi cosa possa servire!
Si trova proprio nel centro della città vecchia, quindi ottimo per girarla a piedi. A due passi anche dal mare.
Unici aspetti “negativi”:
Il parcheggio sotterraneo è un po’ costoso (80 euro 3 gg)
Nell’immobile non c’è ascensore
Essendo in centro la notte ci può essere un po’ di rumore.
Nel complesso sono molto contento della sistemazione!

Perfect spot in Old Nice. Though the building has authentic character, the apartment itself is like new inside. Benoit and his team met us for an early check-in as well, which is greatly appreciated! Note: it’s listed as Beach Access - Beachfront but you’re in the middle of the Old City. There is a public beach a few minutes walk away. Great location.

The apartment was in an excellent location with nice restaurants, cafes and shops on your door step. The promenade de Anglais is a very short walk away and the old town offers a real vibrant, energetic feel. A very comfortable apartment with everything a couple needs from an open plan living space, comfortable bed and pillows to a well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning works well and there are separate units for the living area and bedroom. Some useful travel books around with ideas for great restaurants and a history of Nice which are nice touches. Overall a very pleasant stay in a beautiful city.

L'appartement est cosy et bien équipé, tout le nécessaire est là.
Le seul bémol est l'isolation phonique, on entend beaucoup le bruit extérieur et les quelques fêtards dans la rue en soirée et nuit.

Appartement spacieux, agréable et vraiment bien situé, au coeur de la vieille ville. J'imagine qu'en été le bruit de la rue peut être plus fort en raison des terrasses, mais c'est aussi le charme de la vieille ville.
Le logement est propre et plutôt bien entretenu même si quelques améliorations sont possibles en prenant en compte les suggestions déjà signalées: la porte d'entrée est un peu vieille et branlante, surtout la cuvette des toilettes est cassée depuis plusieurs mois visiblement mais toujours avec la même excuse: les visiteurs partis le matin l'ont à peine cassée !!! Pour les prochains visiteurs, sachez au moins que nous n'avons pas cassé la cuvette des WC! De même, l'achat d'un tire-bouchon et d'une passoire complèteront utilement la vaisselle, par ailleurs abondante.

Location is in the oldtown, which is good as everything is very close, but also it’s bad as you have too much noise from the street (in the night - drunk folk, in the early morning - glass pickers, in the morning - someone with the metal cutter repairing apartment), so you better have some earplugs. The apartment itself is nice, you can not expect more for this price level, I guess, but I think the owner should read more accurately to another reviews - the toilet seat is still broken (does not cost much to change it?), no wine opener (why glasses then?), no dishwasher tablets (why dishwasher then?). I would add that the furniture is weared out (sofa-bed is not confortable at all), the drains is the bathroom sinks are not working (water with soap stays in the sinks - ughh.. nasty 😳)..
Don’t get me wrong, the apartment is not that bad, but some issues must be fixed!

Bit of noise (early morning glass recycling particularly bad!) but you're going to get that anywhere in the old town and we really enjoyed the central location.
Kitchen had plenty of plates and some pans but could do with some more cooking stuff - even for a simple pasta, it was missing a colander and a wooden spoon.
Toilet seat was broken which was quite annoying but apparently it was the guests that had left that morning and I assume it was fixed for the guests after us.
Some minor niggles but overall a great stay and would recommend!

Benoit’s apartment was fantastic. Bit of a climb up stairs to the 5th level but the view was worth it and being right in the middle of things in the old town was great. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Vibrant and buzzy. Great view of the cathedral tower straight out the window.
Apartment was very tidy and nicely decorated. Really enjoyed our stay. Totally recommend to everyone looking for an authentic town experience in the best location.

I do not recommend this apartment. In my opinion, there are many better options in Nice.
I’ve been to Nice many times and have always stayed in AirBnBs in the Old Town. While there were some pleasant features, this is the only apartment I would not stay in again.
I’ll start with the good features. The location is great - right in the heart of Old Town and near all the wonderful restaurants, cafes and shops. The air conditioner worked really well (which isn’t always the case in Old Town Airbnbs).
As for the bad features, we got a message in advance saying we’d be greeted by a host to let us in and show us around the apartment. But the day of arrival, no host was available. He gave us a code to get in which was fine. But it would have been nice to have him there given all of the issues we discovered when we got inside.
First; the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. It was gross so we cleaned it ourselves just to be able to use it. Second, after a long day of travel we wanted to take a shower. But there were no towels. None. So no showers. Ok. Third, we had our baby with us and wanted to put her in the pack n play crib (one of the features that drew us to this apartment). But there was no sheet. And the sheet we brought from the US didn’t for this size pack n play. They did provide a sheet the next day. But the pack n play should not be used. It is not safe. The mat doesn’t latch with Velcro like most do. We woke once to find our 9 month old under the mat and sleeping on the metal support rods. Disturbing to say the least. Forth, the Wi-Fi code wasn’t provided to us upon arrival (we work remotely so this was an issue). Fifth, the baby had a dirty diaper. But no trash bags were provided. Sixth, we bought a bottle of wine to enjoy at home only to discover there was no wine opener. Bummer.
The response time (if we got responses at all) to these issues was very delayed. The people who we did speak with were nice and wanted to help. But they were so disorganized and never addressed most of the items above, that in all just added up to too much inconvenience. As said, I’m my opinion there are many better options in Old Town Nice.

Super leilighet som passer bra til en familie på 4 midt i de sjarmerende gamle (og veldig trange!) gatene i gamle Nice. Herfra kan du gå til alt, stranden, Slottsparken, 100 vis av restauranter ol. Markeder og massevis av butikker og shopping. Soverom med aircondition og stue med sovesofa og aircondition, kjøkken og bad. Det var noen mindre mangler på bad og kjøkken som kunne vert løst, men ikke alvorlig. Noe støy fra gaten på natten, dette er nok umulig å unngå uansett hvor man bor i den gamle bydelen da gatene er smale og fylt med turister. Kan anbefale leiligheten til alle som kan gå i trapper selv.

This apartment is situated right in the heart of old town Nice. We were so spoiled with some of the best cafes, bars and restaurants in town right at our door step. Also a very short walk to the main beach and promenade in Nice.
The apartment exceeded our expectations, it’s super clean and very spacious. The host was very helpful with our arrival and had an open line of communication for any queries during our stay. Highly recommend this apartment for your next visit to Nice

The location is quite central, thats good - you can have a brunch just around the corner. And also you can get a nice ice cream just in front of the door. But you also have a bad smell when you go out of the building since its a narrow back alley and also you will hear people when sleeping.
What was actually in the hosts hands is the communication for the check in. We were expecting someone to be there since it was stated that the host will be there waiting for us. That was not the case and we had to contact 3 people over airbnb, whatsapp and phone until someone took the task to check us in. We had to wait around an hour in the hot weather with the baggage. Also the toilet seat was broken the same day we arrived. Not blaming the host for it but we had to be in the apartment in order to let someone come in twice for our stay and at the end it was not fixed. Also the second water tap in the bathroom was broken and a handle in the shower door. Small things but it sums up unfortunately.

Staying in this place was a good experience. Specially it has an awesome location in the heart of the old town in Nice. The area is very lively during the day and night. The house was good decoration. Also the accessibility to car parkings, tram station is good and it is well reachable from the airport using the T2 tram line.
