Mozart, Verdi, ou encore Rossini, venaient se balader dans les rues de ce quartier. Le quartier des musiciens est le symbole de l’architecture Niçoise. C’est un quartier apprécié pour son calme et pour sa proximité immédiate avec l’hyper centre de Nice. Bien que très proche de l’hyper centre, le secteur des musiciens offre une véritable vie de quartier à ses habitants. On y trouve notamment de nombreux commerces de proximité et restaurants de quartier.

We absolutely loved our three week stay in this gorgeous apartment!. The pictures do not lie. It was so French and chic and a gorgeous mix of purples and greens. Very contemporary and elegant and French architecture all at the same time. Great amount of space, gorgeous shower, adorable contemporary small kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. It was so hot while we were there, but it didn’t stop us from walking 5- 8 miles a day and coming back to central air conditioning was an oasis! We loved the location just a block from the beach. The beach in front of Le Negressco is small and felt private and less crowded than others, plus had a life guard in front of the beach club. We swam all but two days we were there and loved just shuffling a block back to the apartment to shower and change. We also loved the less touristy neighborhood with great restaurants, patisserie and markets where everyone spoke to us in French and were friendly and kind. Entirely walkable to everywhere else in the city. To address some of the complaints in other reviews: yes, trash pick-up/street cleaning is loud and sometimes smelly, but we knew several other people staying in apartments in other parts of the city who all had the same experience. Otherwise the neighborhood was quiet. Nightlife couldn’t be heard, nor could all the action on the Promenade even though it’s only a block away. Highly recommend!
