You’ll be staying opposite Gare Saint-Jean, in a lively and bustling neighbourhood with all the main attractions nearby. Tram line C runs 100 metres from the flat and serves all the city’s key locations.
From Mérignac Airport: Tram A or bus 1 to the Gare Saint-Jean stop, then a 1-minute walk.
Parking: The apartment does not have its own parking. The public car park at Place de la Victoire is 200 metres away (€19/day). Street parking is free from 7pm to 9am, as well as on Sundays and public holidays.

It’s obviously not the most beautiful area of the city, and it can be noisy until late at night, but that was to be expected and it was not too much of a concern, since public transit is so easy in Bordeaux.

Overall we were pleased with this property. It was comfortable and the location was extremely convenient, with tram linking to the old part of Bordeaux and the train to the airport. Our only issue was the smell from the shower drain: we suspect a drain pipe was missing or incorrectly installed because a strong sewer smell nearly overwhelmed at times. Host tried to only communicate with us outside of AirBnB chat (pushed for third party messenger only communication against repeated pushback) and wanted a €250 deposit on a third party website, without which no information about check-in was given, even on the day of our arrival.
Took multiple days beforehand to get in contact with a real person in AirBnB chat instead of just chatbots answering to our denial of third-party communication, which would have gone against AirBnB's policies. Multiple attempts were made to contact us with the link to pay the "deposit" on my private phone number.
We had to involve AirBnB support and make a last minute booking at another AirBnB (which luckily did not demand a dodgy off-site deposit).
Support handled our inquiry very professionally and swiftly, cancelled the stay and reimbursed us the full amount upon delivery of proof that the host repeatedly went against AirBnB's terms of service.

J’ai réservé l’appartement 2 chambres pour 3 adultes et 4 nuits.
J’ai été vraiment déçue par cette réservation. Tout d’abord, l'annonce ne mentionnait pas que les draps et les serviettes étaient en supplément, avec un coût de 49€ non inclus dans le prix de base + 3.30€ de frais = 52.30€. C’est une information importante qui devrait être clairement indiquée. Je loue régulièrement des appartements lors de mes voyages et c’est bien la première fois que les draps et serviettes ne sont pas inclus dans le prix. Malgré le paiement des frais de ménage, on nous impose de sortir les poubelles sous peine d’être débité de 40 euros supplémentaires, ce qui est incompréhensible.
A noter qu’avant votre arrivée, il est demandé un dépôt de garantie de 250€.
Un autre point problématique : le papier toilette n’était pas fourni. C’est un service de base qui manque, surtout dans un logement payant. Après avoir contacté l’agence qui gère l’appartement, celle-ci m’a indiqué qu’elle fournissait un seul rouleau par séjour, sauf que celui dans le logement était déjà bien entamé !
Ensuite, la communication était très déconcertante : j’ai reçu des informations par WhatsApp émanent de trois personnes différentes, ce qui a rendu la communication confuse et peu professionnelle.
Et pour couronner le tout, pendant notre séjour, il y avait des affaires personnelles d’un sans-abri qui bloquaient l’accès à la porte d’entrée du bâtiment.
L’appartement est bien situé ; cependant, les nombreux points négatifs, en particulier le manque de transparence des prix, nous incitent à reconsidérer notre choix pour nos futurs voyages sur Bordeaux où nous nous rendons chaque mois.

Tout d'abord, sachez qu'après avoir réservé, vous allez recevoir un gentil e-mail vous demandant de payer 50e de frais supplémentaires pour le ménage + les draps/ serviettes. Ce n'est bien évidemment pas mentionné dans l'annonce Booking.
Vous allez également déposer 250 euros de garantie. Le séjour se passe bien, nous rendons l'appartement dans un état impeccable, pas de nouvelles de l'agence donc je me dis que tout est OK.
Quelle fût ma surprise lorsque plus d'un mois après avoir séjourné dans le logement, on me retire 150 euros de caution sans me prévenir et sans aucune explication !!!
S'en suit deux mois d'acharnement pour me faire rembourser.
L'agence ne répondant plus ni à mes e-mails, ni à mes appels, c'est l'équipe Booking qui a dû faire pression pour qu'on me rembourse.
En bref, deux mots pour qualifier cette agence de location : ARNAQUE & MAUVAISE FOI.

Let op bij de boeking van dit appartement! Er wordt de optie geboden om lakens en/of handdoeken te boeken bij dit appartement. Als je dit niet bij je hebt, ben je wel genoodzaakt om voor deze optie te kiezen. Het bedrag van 49,50 was naar onze mening wel aan de hoge kant.
Read this before you book, to avoid getting scammed

It could have been a nice stay. The apartment is cool. And so too the location. However these were ruined by my experience, which I will describe below. A shame.
Negative:
- No towels. No bedsheets. These come at an extra cost of 45 Euros. You only find out after you have made the booking. More on this below.
- Many stains on the sofa. They tried to hide it with a cover. Which was also dirty.
- Deposit process is convoluted, many messages and things to do. You will be charged a fee to leave the deposit.
- I declined to pay the 45 Euros fee for the extra towels and bedsheets. I got my own. One week after check-out, I was charged a 60 Euros penalty (taken directly from my bank account) for ‘a cleaning intervention’ due to the ‘condition’ of apartment on check-out.
- This was nonsense. In their email it stated that pictures were attached as proof. Of course, there were no pictures attached. I always leave the places I stay at, in a great condition.
- Based on what they did to me, and what they have done to others who have also left a review here, their strategy is that if you decline the 45 Euros towel and sheets package, they will penalise you with a 60 Euros penalty a week after you’ve left.
If you try to contact them or challenge it, they will ignore and block you.
- I was deeply unhappy at this situation. So, I contacted booking. Booking reached out to them to query the 60 Euros penalty. They responded to booking saying that this was ‘the deposit’. Clearly a lie.
- Booking reached out to them again and they ignored Booking. They ignored Booking, like they have ignored other reviewers who contact them.
- But I was not going to let it go. After two weeks of silence from the company, I contacted Booking again, and this time, Booking went out their way to make sure that I was reimbursed for this fraudulent charge. Booking support/help was great, as it always is.

Une très belle découverte de Bordeaux. L’appartement placé à la gare nous a permis une grande mobilité.

Average location, close to train station but far away from centre of town. Tried contacting the owner for check in instructions for days only got a reply an hour before check in making it very stressful. Had claimed to have attempted contact.

Pourrait mériter un 9/10 avec un ménage bien fait et la résolution des problèmes d'odeur

Ménage catastrophique : sol très sale (moutons, cheveux), poubelle de wc non vidé avec une agréable odeur de semence..., boite de préservatif au sol dans la cuisine (belle surprise quand on loue avec de jeunes enfants...), verres sales (traces de rouge à lèvres et autres) seulement 4 verres c'est un peu juste.
Problème de remontée d'égout, lorsqu'on fait couler le robinet du lavabo de la salle de bain on entend des "glouglou" dans le siphon de la douche et des remontées d'odeur très incommodantes. Lunette des wc visiblement nettoyée seulement sur le dessus (traces d'urine et d'éclaboussures de selles en dessous). Les seules choses propres étaient le linge de lit et de toilette. L'hôte s'est excusé, mais il est clair que le ménage est très minimaliste d'une manière général, j'entends bien que les locataires précédents ont pu laisser l'appartement dans un état lamentable mais il s'agit là d'amateurisme quant. au nettoyage... C'est très dommage.

De ne pas avoir informé qu’il y avait des travaux sur toute la facade du bâtiment et surtout une énorme bâche moche qui fait qu’on n’a aucune vue sur l’extérieur alors qu’il y a un balcon et que bizarrement nous ayons appelé pour être reloger et que personne n’était au courant des travaux !!

A pesar de estar fuera nevando y mucho frío, el apartamento se mantuvo caliente sin problema. Buen aislamiento y calefacción.

Los utensilios de cocina son muy justitos. Ibamos 3 personas y no podíamos hacer pasta para 3 de una vez, solo había un cazo mediano.
Solo había 2 cucharillas pequeñas y 2 vasos de cristal (igual se los habían llevado otros inquilinos y no lo sabían...) cuando el apartamento es de 4 personas.
Una de las toallas, al desplegarla tenía pelos dentro.
Los muebles que sirven como armaritos no estaban limpios. Optamos por dejar la ropa en la maleta. Cuando pienso que pagamos un plus de 49€ por la limpieza...

Price was reasonable, place was clean and comfy had everything we needed. Small but cosy, excellent transport links and take aways on door step as well as ATMs, pharmacy and cafes.

Not best area but did have excellent transport links with Tram and train Station right on door step so location was never an issue. Tram would take you into town centre and all the best areas in 5 or 6 mins and run less than every 5 minutes from right outside apt.

Super petit appartement, très confortable, propre, moderne, tout en pierre très bien restaurée, des espaces très bien pensés. Bref, une location accueillante dans laquelle nous nous sommes sentis très bien. Le tram à 50 mètres devant la gare sncf. Calme car très bien isolé.

Presque rien à dire de négatif; Mais il y avait seulement 4 verres pour 4 personnes, dont un ébréché... embêtant mais pas grave.Aussi, il manque un fait-tout, il y a seulement une casserole pour des pâtes ou autres, ce qui est trop juste pour 4. Nous avions emmené le nôtre car période de Noël par chance...
