Autour de votre logement vous trouvez des nombreux commerces, bars et restaurants sympathiques et le marché local. C’est l’endroit idéal pour des vacances « tout à pied » à Biarritz entre amis ou en famille dans un quartier calme et pourtant en hyper centre de la ville. Vous pourrez également profiter de l'Aquarium de Biarritz, fraichement rénové, à seulement 15 min à pied de votre logement, ou encore le Musée historique de Biarritz à seulement 5 min à pied. Enfin, n’hésitez pas à surfer sur les vagues du Sud pour profiter pleinement de votre séjour.

The apartment is about a 10-minute walk from the city center, but it is located in a run-down neighborhood surrounded by neglected and poorly maintained buildings. Even the entrance to the building is in poor condition: the floor is uneven and lifting in places, and on my first day I tripped and nearly injured myself. It's hard to understand how such an obvious maintenance issue can be ignored in a building that welcomes guests on a regular basis.
Another major disappointment was the complete lack of support from the host. As soon as we arrived, we noticed long hairs on the sofa, the floor, and the bedroom carpet. We contacted the host immediately to request an additional cleaning, but never received any response. The same lack of consideration occurred on the day of check-out when we asked if we could leave our luggage for just one hour before heading to the airport. The request was refused outright, with no willingness to accommodate us.
The apartment itself is not unattractive. It is furnished mostly with Ikea furniture, which gives it a modern and pleasant appearance. However, it has some significant shortcomings. There is no air conditioning, making it extremely uncomfortable during hot weather. The toilet is located in a tiny separate room, roughly one square meter in size, directly off the hallway leading to all the other rooms, offering virtually no privacy. Finally, the bedroom carpet is unhygienic and covered with stains.
For the price we paid, I expected a much higher standard. My advice is to spend a little more and choose a different place.

The location is very good, with easy access to the beach, and the design of the place is nice. However, during my 10-day stay, each person was given only one small towel, which was inconvenient. The shower has no protection or curtain, so the water spreads and wets the entire bathroom. This, combined with the humidity, caused a bad smell.

The dampness or dust issue should be addressed properly - there’s a slight smell - especially in the foyer of the building. Check in was flexible thankfully and host was lovely about it. Sending video instructions. The sofa should be cleaned or replaced and the room with bigger bathroom needs a new mattress. It would have been appreciated to have more than 2 rolls of toilet roll knowing 4 people are booked in for the weekend. We loved Biarritz but sadly won’t be coming back to this address. Better to pay a bit more and not have the aforementioned issues.
