The apartment is lovely and very comfortable and its position on Idle decay Louis in easy walking of all the main Paris attractions. We loved buying our fresh croissants and baguette at the local boulangerie only 50m from our doorstep and trying out all the local sidewalk cafés for our evening meal. The Seine is also very close by and we loved just enjoying a glass of wine on the riverbank..

These are comments for the Welkeys Team.
We have not yet decided what rating, comments, or images we will post on booking.com, any other Paris rental review platforms. We would love to highlight the many positives of our stay, but this depends on your response.
Please see our concerns.
On May 18th after 23 hours of travel we requested a slightly early check in.
Khaled promised we could check in early around 12 noon.
we told him we only needed to drop our baggage and head out to a lunch reservation. He said that was fine, but the cleaner would be there cleaning at noon. We arrived at noon and dropped our luggage - no cleaner yet and the place was a mess. We left for our reservation at 12noon and expected to return around 3 to a clean, prepped unit.
We returned a little early at 2:pm to check on the cleaners progress. No one had come yet. Same mess.
We were exhausted and we had to collapse in a dirty apartment with no cleaner in sight.
The Cleaner woman showed up alone at 2:20pm and worked around us for less an hour.
Rating her cleaning job we could give her a C- considering she did not run the washer or dishwasher. She did not arrive with clean linens.
We were left with just one cover sheet and a coverlet that we could hear her shaking out, but thats all.
From day one we had to deal daily with an ant infestation that required us to buy Raid ant bug spray which did not work, and a trap that was all we could find at the stores. The ants would crawl up our legs, into our shoes, and under the sofa bed in the living room.

Unfortunately, a neighbor accidentally shut our electricity off, and though Welkeys tried to resolve it via text, we had no electricity for a full night. The representative from Welkeys didn't get to the apartment until 10 the next morning. That is unaccaptable service. Fortunately the apartment was so great that my mom and I left feeling positive about the rental.

The location of this place is wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the shower is very nice. It was not very well stocked with supplies and we has to purchase some. The biggest issue was that there is an ant problem in the front room, the host and website were responsive but the issue was not resolved during the stay.

Ile-St-Louis is our favorite area, which is one of the reasons we booked this place - also, ground floor! It’s a delightful area and mostly quiet at night. The unit was - as anticipated - “very cozy,” which is to be expected in these older buildings in Paris. We were relieved to find that there were shutters on the windows, to provide more privacy in this former storefront location. Our host, Jeremie, was helpful and responsive. He advised us that there might be a problem with ants, which there was, so we were extra cautious about handling food. There was construction (very noisy) going on next door, which was only an issue when we first arrived and were sleeping late and still jet-lagged.

The apartment matched the description, and we definitely took advantage of the washer/dryer (took a couple smaller loads to get the drying right) and dishwasher. Would definitely recommend this as a spot to be right in the thick of things in Paris!

Localisation parfaite. Appartement ok. Quelque équipement cassé ou pas bien fonctionnant, qui n'a pas été réparé malgré notre message. Des choses dangereuses laissés à la porté des enfants même si nous avons signalé que nous avions deux bébés. Pas de chaise haute ni de berceau... Après ça, ils nous ont demandé à rembourser ce qui était déjà cassé avant notre arrivé.

The place is very nicely renovated and beautiful in its own right. It is quiet even though it’s right off the street. It’s small, but they’ve packed a lot into the space.
The kitchen hand soap and disposable towels were empty when we arrived, and when we ran out of the toilet paper on day 2 we were told there was a store nearby we could buy those items. Not what we expected to hear. We were given 3 coffee pucks for 2 adults x 5 nights. Also the baby bed has a broken leg so we had to get creative and prop up the mattress to make it work as they didn’t offer to fix/replace. Lastly the washer/dryer doesn’t have a dry-only setting, so we ended up having to hang our clothes all over the apartment to dry them (no big deal but unexpected).
Despite those above things we enjoyed our stay.

This was the perfect little spot for our trip. We felt it was a great value for the space, it was clean and the location was so quaint. It was the “tucked away” euro feeling we were hoping for. We both commented on the size of the shower compared to what we are used to when traveling and the water was actually hot! The beds were comfortable and the bedroom was super dark which we appreciated. The standout though was the rental representative, Hacene. He was so communicative and accommodating. He even let us drop our bags off prior to check in and provided very clear directions w/a photo to easily locate the unit. Prior to checkout we took advantage of the Welkeys transfer service to get to the airport. I wish we would have thought to do that on the way there as well. We’d absolutely recommend it and would stay here again. Thank you, Hacene!

Wir waren zu dritt mit einem kleinen Hund und haben die Wohnung für sechs Nächte gebucht. Die Platzverhältnisse in der Wohnung war vollkommend ausreichend, da wir tagsüber immer unterwegs waren. Jeremie, der Gastgeber, war super freundlich, zuvorkommend und bei Fragen sofort zu erreichen. Die Wohnung liegt zentral und doch, da sie in einer kleinen Seitenstraße liegt, sehr ruhig gelegen. Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

There’s a small grocery store right around the corner as well as a bakery to get croissants and coffee in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Charming, modern, clean apartment which looks just like the photos. Great location - easy to walk anywhere on Ile St Louis and other parts of Paris. Note it is ground floor with entrance straight from the street (likely converted store). It didn’t bother me and was actually very convenient - but I hadn’t expected it. Bedroom is in the back so it’s not noisy. Jeremie was flexible to meet during check in and check out.

The location was ideal. The room is easy walking distance to Notre Dame, Ste. Chapelle, the Latin Quarter, and the Marais. While there is no Metro stop on the island, it is a short walk to multiple Metro stops, so the whole city is easily available. I fount it was easily walkable to major museums, but others may find it a bit far. Isle St. Louis is a quiet neighborhood with a handful of great restaurants and shops, but unlike more touristy locations it is calm and quiet, especially at night. This was a great little flat, perfect for a two person escape to Paris.
Negative:
There were no toiletries, we normally travel without those items, but we had to go grocery shopping for shampoo and soap after arrival. Also there was only one dishwashing pod so we had to wait until the last day to wash dishes. We had to leave early on our final day, and it was a bit challenging reaching the host to coordinate the hand off. In the end it worked out, but we were worried for a bit.

Ile St Louis is a magical place and this Airbnb is a comfortable , affordable place to stay in the centre of Paris. The bed is super comfortable and the bedroom quiet. The apartment is a converted shop , so the front room feels a little strange but kitchen is well equipped. Over decorating has taken any tradition feel away from the property, which is sad. But the shower is good and you can’t beat the location. Access was great and communication immediate from Jeremie. Many thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The location is fantastic, on a quiet side street on the Ile St. Louis. Easy access to both sides of the Seine. The apartment is small but manageable for two people and the design of the space is efficient and well thought out. There were lots of amenities and everything you would need for a comfortable stay was available. Hacene did an excellent job checking us in and Jeremie communicated very will with the check out.

The location was excellent for us for a four night stay. We could walk everywhere, and being so centrally located, we watched the many moods of the Seine every time we came and went from the apartment. There are many eateries nearby, and a supermarket and fruit/ veg shop, along with small independent shops that are delightful. This is all on the doorstep of the apartment. The apartment is well equipped and thoughtfully designed.

As we were catching an international flight the day we left, requiring an early departure, it would have been more convenient for us and for staff to have a key box in place, permanently.

Do not recommend if you need to use the pull out bed.

Very small. Photos were deceiving. The pull out bed is completely unusable. We ended up leaving after the first night and having to find alternate accommodations as I had to sleep on the floor the first night because the pull out was so bad.

Upon the pre-arranged check-in time, we were politely informed that housekeeping had not cleaned our room. We waited for over 2.5 hrs before it was ready. Additionally, the floors did not appear to have been swept or cleaned; we couldn’t walk across the floor without getting our feet dirty. There were large dust piles near the bed/corners. Also, the apartment was on the ground floor of a busy alley. The door did not feel secure - two manual locks had to be used & there was an unprotected glass window next to the locks. The shower leaked & there were not enough towels (only 2 for 2 people). Paris was 90-97 degrees Fahrenheit while we were there & we requested a fan twice & did not receive one, therefore the apartment was very hot & challenging to sleep.

The location was great, very quiet and close to lots of attractions and amenities. It was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were most helpful, including arranging an early check in.
Negative:
The windows are literally on the street, on the ground floor, so we chose to keep the shutters closed almost all the time, so the advertised 'city view' was non existent except when we were leaving the apartment.

This was a lovely, efficient little apartment for our six night visit in Paris. The location is so wonderful on the Ile St Louis, around the corner from a whole street with grocers, restaurants, creperies, boulangerie, fromagerie, a coffee shop, etc. And in the other direction half a block to the Seine. The bed was comfortable and the sofabed was too. It's a small space but efficiently laid out and nicely appointed. Communication was great and we really appreciated how they worked to accommodate us for an early checkin after a redeye flight. We had a wonderful stay here.

We had such an incredible stay! The space was clean and modern and in an ideal location in the heart of Paris. Jeremie was also amazing and super responsive anytime we needed anything . The perfect spot for 2 people!

Nice apartment on a great location. The street itself is very quiet with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. It is so central, perfect to explore Paris which we did using the public bike's. Super to see Paris that way, beter than using the subway. Contact with the host was ok, but uppon arrival the door handle broke off. Not caused by wrong using, just beacause it was an old door handle. I was charged € 270,- for the door handle that was bound to fall off at any minute. Gave me a lot of stress. So they won't see me again.

Emplacement idéal, en face de notre dame et à 10 min à pied de l’hôtel de ville et des transports en communs. Concernant le logement, celui-ci est en RDC, n’est pas adapté à trois personnes (le canapé lit n’est pas du tout confortable et très petit). Durant les 4 jours du séjour nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude malgré de nombreuses relances auprès du concierge qui n’a jamais répondu aux appels… Le rapport qualité prix est de ce fait mauvais lorsqu’on doit se doucher avec de l’eau glacée et qu’aucun moyen n’est mis en place pour arranger la situation.

Prachtig net gerenoveerd appartement op het rustige eiland Saint Louis. Ideale plek ten opzichte van alle mooie plekjes in Parijs. Appartementje is niet groot, maar van alle gemakken voorzien.
De omgeving is mooi en er zit een supermarktje en bakker om de hoek.
Ook zijn er leuke restaurantjes in de omgeving. Een aanrader.
