Very good value for money and the flat had exactly everything we needed.

There's a night club in the main square and men on drugs or alcohol are screaming until 3.30am- this affects the front bedroom. If you left earplugs this problem would be less.

Un appartement très bien, mais mal géré.

Lumineux et spacieux.
Bien équipé avec tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine. Le kit douche super. La Litterie tres bien. Tout ce qu'il faut pour faire la vaisselle (Savons, éponges...). L'équipe sur place (François et sa femme) en charge de gérer, super.

Chambres et salles de bain restent assez spartiates (déco, mobilier..).
Beaucoup de finitions faites à la va vite. Poigné de salle de bain mal fixée et manque un peu de lumière dans la salle de bain de l'entrée.
Un petit Meuble tv par exemple au lieu d'un tabouret pour soutenir la box internet...
Mais tout ces détails ne sont rien face à la plus grande catastrophe de conciergerie que j'ai connu : Welkeys! J'ai du réclamer ma procédure de prise des clés (1h avant d'arriver...). Et j'ai aussi du réclamer la procédure de départ et la conciergerie vous demande de contacter par vous même. Bref, une expérience gâchée par une mauvaise gestion et des frais inacceptables.

The smaller bedroom had a damp patch on the ceiling and wall, which grew with rain whilst we were there, and bits coming off the wall. Ceiling looked unsightly and was damp. It looked like this damage had been there for a while, but photos when booking obscured this. Several door handles had fallen off, showers dusty and dirty grouting and not clean and toilet seats cracked. Whole apartment could have done with a deep clean. We emailed several times for issues to be addressed, but responses were vague and non committal.

While the apartment was clean, modern and centrally located, our stay was tainted by our experience with the management company. When we first checked in, the handle to the sliding bedroom door was broken making it impossible to close it completely. Then the door handle to the bathroom broke shortly after we got there. The management company failed to fix either in the four days we stayed there inconveniencing us. Even though we reminded them multiple times that we don’t speak French, they continued to message us in French. And after check out, they claimed we owed $81 for damages to a bed sheet that had a burn mark from the iron. We were willing to compensate them for a replacement sheet but thought $81 was excessive and asked for photographic evidence of the damage to justify the excessive charge. That request was ignored. Unfortunately for these reasons, I cannot recommend this apartment.

A Fabulous Avignon Apartment

Location was great. Les Halles indoor market across square as well as 5 restaurants, , grocery store beneath apartment, the free bus to town stops here, Saturday Market held on rue Carnot around the corner, safe neighborhood. The apartment has new appliances and modern fixtures and is furnished well.
Negative:
The 42 Steps! For us, they were daunting.
One shower had no door, and neither had grab bars, which we felt were necessary for safety. Also, some sort of shelf in the shower on which to place shower gel and shampoo would have been helpful.
However, I must commend François, for help
with the luggage, as we were 2 ladies in their late 70's. We are grateful for his time and his invaluable help. Merci beaucoup, François !

Excellent location, really in the middle of the best part of town. The apartment is nice and spacious enough for 4 people. The kitchen is really well equipped. Being the city centre it is not always quiet, but good enough with the windows close. There is conditions that we did not use. The view on the square is very nice.
Getting there is tricky and we were given no instructions where to park, even after asking, or how to enter town (not a trivial drive with all the pedestrian and closures – Google maps got lost). The communication for the check in was not very good, as the person duet o meet us never conformed, but still someone was there when we arrived.

Ideal location to visit Palais des Papes, nearby parking convenient. Dined at Brasserie de L’Horloge fabulous. Les Halles nearby to have a cozy evening in for our second night stay in January. Apartment had reverse air conditioning so nice and warm. You have Carrefour downstairs if you’ve forgotten any provisions.

Ook was het komen naar het appartement met de auto om uit te laden een drama. Moesten door pollen en drie keer aanbellen. Wisten niet hoe het werkte en moesten op straat vragen.

-Supermercado Carrefour city justo de bajo del piso.
- es bastante tranquilo siendo centro de la ciudad.
- el piso con 2 habitaciones están con buen espacio y decoración moderna y limpia.
Inconvenientes:
- no hubo indicación sobre parking y demos muchas vueltas
- No habla en inglés , pero intentamos comunicarnos y contesta rápido — hay que comunicarse por varias personas.
- juegos de sábanas fueron más pequeñas que edredones, hay que poner nosotros, imagínate después de un viaje largo para llegar un lugar sólo quería descansar…
- bastante escaleras para llegar piso 2, realmente es piso 3. Si hay muchas maletas o personas con problemas de rodillas, o niños pequeños, un poco complicado.
- hay mosquitos grandes en esta época..
en general, está muy bien para una familia en corto viaje. Limpio y cómodo.

The apartment is very nice - two good size bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and very well equipped and comfortable. It is in a excellent location for seeing the best Avignon has to offer.
However, communication with the manager left a bit to be desired. We paid our deposit, then the final payment, and the app showed we had paid nothing, right up until we actually checked-in. I had to ask that they had received the payments, and was reassured, but there was nothing on the Stayz site to show it.
Check-in arrangements were made, and a 'concierge' arranged to let us in and show us around. On arrival, at the mutually-agreed time, there was nobody there. I phoned her, then her backup, and neither answered their phones - each one was phoned twice. I had to phone the head office to get an answer.
The 'concierge' arrived 15 minutes later, without a care in the world, as if nothing had happened! She was very half-hearted about the whole thing, as if it bored her.
I would recommend this property, but only if they improve their arrival arrangements.

Check in procedures are in need of total révision! Being able to get in to the property was a disaster. While repeatedly providing arrival time information to the management co., the on-site person didn’t seem to know them. She didn’t speak or read english which is OK but there needs to be a way to communicate with the client. Calls to let her know we had arrived were responded to by, “I don’t speak english”. Further texts were by “what’s app”. By chance I had installed it on my phone otherwise there would have been no communication between us. Also the client should be made aware that cabs can only access the address during certain hours because of street barriers. Because of that we had to carry our luggage a considerable distance to reach the rental. Because of the failed communications we are not sure anyone was going to meet us. After waiting about 20 minutes someone finally showed up. Some other downsides to the property were: Every early evening gangs of men would sit near the entrance sometimes blocking the entrance to the property. And I am not
referring to the Uber Eats people who were picking up groceries; water to the washing machine was turned off and it was out the entrance door and up some stairs, it was another hassle to get it fixed and the TV didn’t
work. On the positive side the place was clean, the furnishings good and the location excellent.

The apartment was a very good set up for us as a family of adults. The kitchen was well appointed as were the other rooms. It worked well for us as we are all able to handle stairs and to walk to the many wonders of the old city. If someone wanted to be closer to the Palais de Papes or many of the restaurants they may need to consider something a bit closer in the city walls. The Halles market is very close with its incredible choice of food. We definitely benefited from being close by. We were well looked after during our stay and are greatly appreciative.

We loved everything about the place although the 2 flights of stairs was hard on me (68). The view outside was wonderful looking toward the 13th century tower. Having the Carrfours right down stairs was very convenient. The beds were really comfortable and the space, neat and clean and well lighted. Francois came to help us once when we had a problem and was really quick to figure stuff out. We loved the location and how easy it was to get around. Highly recommend.

The wellkeys team which manages the accomodation were generally responsive but were reluctant to provide advice on best parking nearby (which I thought they could have done). Fortunately, we were able to find a good car park at the Halles market a couple of minutes walk away. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Very comfortable and clean apartment. Not easy to find and some more information about driving and parking inside the city walls would have been helpful. Host should consider a lockbox check in method to avoid difficulties with check in.

The noise from the town square are very loud especially at night - pls be aware that during very early hour in the morning like 4 or 5am they have either the rubbish collector trucks or delivery trucks come for the downstairs carrefour supermarket and they got very very loud. I got woken up by those noise every day if you sleep in the master bedroom. 😅. I wasn’t a light sleeper but I woken up every day during the hour for about 10 mins and I got back to sleep. So be careful of that.
Also there are some delivery persons or drunk homeless would gether around downstairs. - I wouldn’t recommend if you are girls staying here on yourselves.

Great central location, parking at Les Halles worked well for us (tight spaces, but doable). Nice kitchen, washer, no dryer, but heated towel drying racks in bathrooms did the job. Thanks for the relaxing stay.

Appartement was in good shape and very clean. Everything as described. If you plan to go there by car, please keep in mind, that Avignon tries to keep cars outside the inner city. You will not be able to drive directly in front of the door and the next parking at the market is a bit difficult to find because of blocked streets. But this is a problem only for car drivers.

The apartment was centrally located, within a short walking distance of the major sights, restaurants and shopping, and very close to a parking garage, if you're driving. The apartment was roomy, tastefully and recently renovated and well equipped with everything one is likely to need. It was also spotless. You should be prepared to walk two flights of stairs, as there is no elevator, but the stairs are low and easy to climb. I highly recommend this apartment. My only advice is to be sure to specify and agree on a check-in time well in advance of arrival, so you are not left to wait to be let in.

The apartment is very conveniently located in the Old Town. We had easy access to restaurants and shops. It is also within walking distance of the train station. The apartment is nice sized, with two full baths and two full bedrooms. We loved our stay there. The host was very gracious.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Jean-Marc's. The location was perfect, we were within a 15 min walk of everything we wanted to do in Avignon. The apartment was clean, well stocked, and large for France! The AC was super cold which is what we wanted during 32+ degree weather. We stumbled across a wine tasting right outside the apartment which was perfect. The restaurant right outside the apartment had the best pizza we've had yet in France (and we've had LOTS of pizza). We will stay here next time we come to Avignon!

The apartment is bright and airy and comfortable. However the property manager Welkeys is below par and were most unhelpful. They do not answer phone calls and we made several to the number given to us to ask for an early check in. Take your own maps etc and figure out where you are yourself as there is zero information in the apartment about the area. There is also no information about using the gadgets in the apartment. The washing machine is outside the apartment and you have to stand on a staircase to load the machine! There are some minor repairs needed in the apartment which I have told the owner about in my e mail to him.
Over all it was a fine place for 3 nights. first time visitors just need more information.

Our biggest problem occurred during check-in, when we had told the agency our scheduled arrival time and still were left waiting out on the street with our luggage for about 45 minutes. We really would suggest looking into a self check-in option if someone cannot be there in a prompt time frame. Once we moved on from that, the apartment was really great. Fantastic location and very comfortable!

This is a well-situated apartment, ideal for accessing the various sights of Avignon. It is very clean, quite spacious, well-equipped (we didn’t cook at all but I believe the facilities were more than adequate should we have chosen to do so), and stylishly decorated. Even in the very hot weather we experienced, the airconditioning ensured we kept cool. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen high quality. The bathrooms seemed to have been recently renovated and were modern and functional.
One slight note of caution: there are two flights of stairs up to the apartment. The building is old, and the stairs might be difficult for those who are not very mobile, or possibly for young children.

The size of the apartment was good for two people or even a family of three. The kitchen, living room combination was comfortable and well laid out. The beds were comfortable, and it was a bonus to have the air conditioning given noisy location. Wifi worked very well, and easy to connect.
Negative:
The apartment is located above a Carrefour City grocery store who have 2-3 large industrial size garbage bins. Unfortunately the smell makes it’s way to the apartment for part of the day. The smell was evident for 2 of 6 night stay.
The apartment is on two active Squares, so it can be noisy through the night.
I would not recommend this apartment to any friends.

Die Unterkunft hat alles, was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, in wunderbaren Betten geschlafen und Nichts vermisst!
Die Anfahrt mit dem PKW gestaltete sich nicht einfach, weil die Unterkunft praktisch in der Fußgängerzone liegt. Der kostenlose Park- &Ride Parkplatz „Le Piot“ ist 15 Minuten Gehminuten entfernt und dem kostenintensiven Parkhaus in der Nähe vorzuziehen!
Französischkenntnisse sind ebenfalls von Vorteil, weil ein Anruf und die Schlüsselübergabe vor Ort durch Welkeys nicht in Englisch stattfinden konnte.
