La Place Bellecour se trouve à 5 min à pied, l’Opéra à 10 min et vous n’aurez qu’à traverser la Saône pour parcourir les ruelles du quartier historique du Vieux Lyon.

The apartment is mostly fantastic, if on the pricey end.
Slightly strange layout with a bathroom hidden away at the end of the kitchen which is quite hard to find (and you walk out straight into the kitchen. Small downside: there is only one small lift which is not suitable for larger people.
Toilets a little small. Bathrooms lovely. Lounge is massive, with a maybe 80” TV. We didn’t stay there much but would be great for those who do.
We were unfortunately left without water for half a day, not due to the host but to work. However, though it was on posters in the building, we were not told about by the host. We were refunded by Airbnb because of this.
The host then tried to request the identical money back for “damage”, with their claims being £80 for a 1” crack in a fridge door shelf (there when we arrived) and £60 for emptying a small bin. On top of a hefty cleaning fee already.
I was ready to give the place 4 or 5 stars but this really soured it for all of us.

**Feedback:** The apartment has great potential—spacious, comfortable, and in a prime location. However, numerous issues significantly detract from the experience, especially given the premium price.
**Maintenance Problems:** Broken toilet flush, damaged coffee table, hole in toilet door, faulty coffee machine, malfunctioning blinds, and a shower door that won’t close properly.
**Cleanliness Concerns:** Sticky floors, old and smelly sponges left in the kitchen, and unwashed/stained blankets.
**Amenities Shortcomings:** No kettle provided, only one key for the entire apartment.
**Check-in Experience:** The host seemed disinterested, more focused on smoking than ensuring we were properly settled or informed.
**Final Thoughts:** For the price paid, the lack of upkeep and attention to detail is disappointing. Simple fixes (repairs, deep cleaning, and better guest communication) would vastly improve the stay. Currently, the value doesn’t justify the cost.

This location is perfect. There are restaurants all down this street and surrounding streets. Easy walk to shopping and the river. We are a family of four and it was plenty of space to spread out. The unit is located on the 4th floor and there is a tiny elevator to utilize. Our son did get stuck in the elevator but the host answered the emergency call and responded quickly with help. We were very thankful for that. The communication has been easy and quick.
