- L'accès en voiture à l'intra-muros est impossible après 11h (bornes d'accès - sonner en précisant que vous êtes un voyageur avec une location).
- Pendant le Festival d'Avignon, l'accès est totalement interdit dès 12h (stationnement possible à l'île Piot, gratuit et à 10 min à pied, ou au parking payant du Palais des Papes).
- La sortie de l'intra-muros reste libre à tout moment.

Points faibles: une agence fait la gestion de la location. La communication avec l’agence a été très difficile pendant toutes les étapes du séjour :
- les questions posées via la messagerie d’airbnb n'ont jamais été repondues. Nous avons dû appeler l’agence pour réussir à avoir des informations
- l’agence envoie des messages automatiques redirectionnant vers un site externe pour le partage d’informations
- le jour de l’arrivée on a dû appeler l'agence à plusieurs reprises pour avoir accès à l’apartement et ils nous ont fait attendre 1 heure en face de l'immeuble avant d'envoyer quelqu'un, en justifiant que l'heure d'arrivée n'avait pas été precisée, tandis qu'elle avait été informée dans le formulaire de check-in que l’agence demande à remplir au préalable. Etant bien chargés et avec des enfants en bas âge, cela a été très inconvénient.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apt! Was clean, nicely decorated, all the amenities we needed and super location! It only has one toilet though as other bathrooms just had showers. The other negative was that we do not speak French and had some difficulty with communication. I was very confused and taken back though with being told I had to find trash bins across the street behind the theater!! Never have I had to do this. Not at all normal and quite frankly not our responsibility!

The views from the apartment were excellent, and it was located close to restaurants, theatres, and plenty of historical locations. The elevator was spacious enough for a few people and bags. It felt very safe and stayed quiet at night. The parking garage was very nice and convenient. During the festival d’Avignon, you simply need to show your airbnb reservation to be let in centre ville, then don’t be afraid to use the communication posts in order to lower the barriers to get to rue Racine. Be prepared to give your license plate number over the speaker. This was a great place to stay for the festival and Francois and Ewa were very helpful! We would definitely stay here again.

Don’t put the address into your sat nav as it will only take you on routes you cannot access. Go first to the Rue de la Republic. We had an enjoyable time here but it was marred by a few things. The listing say two bathrooms but it is two rooms with a sink and shower and a single toilet so if there are six or more it could be problematic. If you have a large car the parking is difficult to get out of as there is a concrete post not far from where you park. There is a lack of hanging space for clothes. Other people’s clothes are in one of them. We had travelled to a number of places in France/Italy and at every place we were given a sheet on the bed plus a duvet with cover. This is the first place I have had a folded up duvet cover on the bed and had to find a duvet and no sheets available

The first disappointing thing was that I and my wife had to wait more than an hour to have someone deliver the keys to the apartment and the garage opener. In my communication with the Welkeys representative, I was told that there would be a concierge ready to assist us when we arrived. There was no concierge in the building and there was no one available to assist us. We had to make several telephone calls before someone finally showed up. The location of the apartment is superb. Right in the heart of the city of Avignon. However, any reference to being luxurious is exaggerated. It is OK, but not luxurious. The parking in the basement of the building is almost useless for anything more than economy or compact-size vehicles. None of the A/C units installed in four rooms (three bedrooms and the living room), except one, worked. The problem was recorded by a person who delivered the keys, but no one showed up to address the problem during our ten-day visit.

The only caveat would be that if you are driving/renting a mini-van, you might want to consider another location. We got hopelessly lost trying to navigate a maze of narrow, one-way streets that were definitely not made for our 7-passenger vehicle (very stressful)! We finally found a public parking space several blocks from the apartment (by the city wall) that we barely fit into after backing in and out, and called the property manager. We were unable to use the parking space in the apartment's garage as we were advised by the property manager that we would also have difficulty fitting into that space.
Other than that we had a lovely stay. We enjoyed walking less than a block to the main square for dinner at a different café each night. Great atmosphere!

The location of the apartment was right in the city square and very walkable to restaurants, shops and the market. The apartment was very clean, had comfortable beds, a very functional kitchen and a nice living area. We had our family of five staying there and it was comfortable.
Checking in was a bit complicated- we arrived via train a few hours early and weren't let in to the property until 30 minutes past the check-in period. We asked for a later check-out to coincide with our train schedule and were denied a later check-out. It is unclear whether there was a language barrier, if the property manager was out, or if the property manager was just not as communicative as other managers are. With that said, I would still recommend this property to others. It was lovely!

It's a beautiful flat in a great location that is well maintained. While the photos are representative, it is so much more impressive in person. My daughter who helped me select this VRBO was very delighted with her decision. The linens, towels, and kitchen were well stocked. It's in a great location in the square. Shopping is just two streets opposite direction of the square that we'll save for next time. The host representative Francois (a very nice gentleman) who greeted us had limited English skills so I'm thankful my children speak French to help us through through the familiarization process.
I wish there was more than one toilet for a family of four but we managed. Getting in and out of the garage was fine, but be very careful as there is a structural pole about 8 feet behind the parking spot and a very low gate. I didn't realize so the trunk of our rental car hit the gate causing a small dent and the very sensitive car rental agencies who look for every dent to charge you applied a 40 euro charge for the dent. That's a separate issue, my message is just be careful when opening the trunk in the parking spot.
Everything went smoothly we did not have to contact the property management until after we left. However that was a rough go as I attempted to return a fork that my kids had inadvertently taken while we were still in France. I found that line of communication challenging. Not sure what would have happened if we God forbid lost our key. Hopefully that would have a different level of urgency.
All in all a very good stay and rates in the top 10% of vacation homes we've stayed in. As my children say we hope to able to enjoy it again soon.

Apartment is in a great location, has working elevator, and air conditioning. Those were pluses. It was quiet at night so everyone could get a good night's rest. Our only problems had to do with confusing communication (several numbers, asking us to use whats app instead of airbnb platform), inability to use the parking space, and check-in/check-out. We had a lovely time in Avignon, though, and appreciated the amenities. If you plan to use the parking space, I'd ask for detailed instructions on how to get to the garage entrance ahead of time because it is anything but straightforward. We ended up not even being able to use it and had to pay for parking at a lot nearby.

Corine's apartment was in the perfect location for visiting Avignon and the surrounding area. It's just a short walk to the station and the underground garage was really useful when we hired a car for a couple of days. There are lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk to Palais des Papes. Would recommend staying here.

Le logement est un super appartement en plein cœur d'Avignon. Difficile de faire mieux en terme de localisation ! On a pu tout faire à pied et même faire des allers-retours au logement dans la journée si besoin. Le logement est spacieux, lumineux, bien équipé mais aussi très calme.
A noter cependant que la seconde salle de bain est inclue dans une chambre type suite parentale. Il y a donc réellement 1 seule salle de bain accessible à tous. Mais nous étions 6 et cela n'a pas posé de problème spécifique. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la place de parking est très utile même si ce n'est pas très simple d'arriver à entrer dans la zone piétonne : il faut bien préciser aux personnes présentes à cet endroit que vous avez une location pour qu'elles vous laissent entrer.
Bref, on recommande fortement !

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Avignon. The location over looks one of the main squares and you can even see part of the palace des papes from one window. The balconies are great and the space is large. The only thing we were somewhat surprised about is that there was only one toilette, since the washrooms are very european. We’d still make the choice for our group of four to stay here again and highly recommend based on the space and location.

Le logement est idéalement placé sur la place de l’horloge, à deux pas du palais des papes. L’appartement est top jusqu’à 8 personnes. Il a également le luxe d’avoir une place de parking (attention : c’est possible mais très compliqué d’accès pour les auto imposantes comme les 5008 !!!)

L'appartement est extrêmement bien situé, tout en étant au calme malgré sa position centrale. La literie était très confortable, l'appartement propre et spacieux, rien à redire !
Nous avons galéré pour arriver à l'appartement (manifestations, passage de borne...), mais nos hôtes ont su nous guider avec beaucoup de patience malgré notre retard.
Si nous devons revenir à Avignon, nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans ce logement !

I would recommend parking as close to Papas restaurant and waiting for the concierge. We drove around for an hour just trying to get into the parking garage. Other than that, the town is amazing and the location is PERFECT!! I highly recommend this spot. When we come back it is exactly where we want to stay.
