Keep looking. Would not stay again and not worth the money. It’s clear they’re trying to make the most money with the least effort/investment. The location was walkable to many things, the host was responsive, and the linens were clean, but the unit was not maintained properly. The floors and shower were dirty, the furniture needs to be replaced, noisy esp at night, and very dangerous broken steps and unstable tiles. I broke my toe the first day there. The listing says 2 bathrooms, but the 2nd “bathroom” was a shower stall in a closet.

To say this was a bad stay would be a gross understatement. From the moment we picked up the key from the bike rack, it was clear this wouldn't be a great stay. We were met with horrible stairs under construction leading up to our room, which, upon entering, smelled strongly of an Arabic restaurant. There was construction happening that we were completely unaware of! The stairs were a hazard, with loose tiles all the way up to the third floor, causing us to trip multiple times. The pillows were unclean, with visible yellow stains, and most of them lacked pillow shams. The shower room was unlit, and the main entrance door resembled something out of a horror movie. The only reason we endured the three days was because it was Monaco Grand Prix weekend, and there were simply no other options available at such short notice. Additionally, the listing portrayed the place as a nice apartment with a hotel concierge, which was entirely misleading. In reality, we never saw a single staff member throughout our stay and had to collect the key from a lockbox attached to a bike.
C'est un euphémisme de dire que ce fut un mauvais séjour. Dès le moment où nous avons récupéré la clé accrochée au support à vélo, il était clair que ce ne serait pas un moment idyllique. Nous avons été accueillis par d'horribles escaliers en travaux menant à notre chambre qui, en y entrant, sentait fort le restaurant arabe. Il y avait des travaux de construction dont nous ignorions complètement l'existence ! Les escaliers étaient un danger, avec des carreaux mal fixés sur tout le chemin jusqu'au troisième étage, nous faisant trébucher à plusieurs reprises. Les oreillers étaient sales, avec des taches jaunes visibles, et la plupart n'avaient pas de taies d'oreiller. La salle de douche n'avait pas d'éclairage, et la porte d'entrée principale ressemblait à quelque chose tiré d'un film d'horreur.

Very central location in the old town. Easy access to literally hundreds of cafes, bars, and restaurants as well as local supermarkets. Few minutes walk to beaches on the Bay of Angels. Apartment in old town house above shop. Simple process to access Apartment without owners representative. Good facilities for cooking, if needed. Separate shower room away from bathroom/toilet eases morning routines.

Main problem was the noise at night, due to central location. Revelers were out in the streets singing and shouting until 3 to 4 am, when bin cleaning and deliveries started. Due to narrow alleyways deliveries have to be off loaded onto trolleys and wheeled to shops / cafes etc. Need to remember ear plugs. Had to have windows open due to heat. Entrance hall and staircase was currently undergoing refurbishment and floors were masked with paper which covered broken and moving floor tiles.

I think this unit was OK. I didn't like the rat traps on the stairway to the 2nd floor apartment. The stairway was also in very bad repair. The dead rats in the traps STUNK. This building needs structural work. But the beds were comfortable and clean and like I said the location was great.

J'aurai tant aimé ne dire que du bien de cet appartement pour sa situation au cœur du vieux Nice , son architecture intérieure, sa luminosité et sa propreté, bref tout ce que laisse envisager les photos.
Hélas tout n'est pas à la hauteur (mauvaise odeurs dans la salle de bain et manque de rangement, 2ème salle de bain douche plutôt placard douche sans aucun aménagement et avec pour les 2 un éclairage très tristounet), les odieuses pancartes "private" sur des rangements dont on a pas accès, la montée d'escalier qui refroidit au premier abord.
Et surtout un manque total de communication avec l'hôte, absence de livret d'accueil et de consignes (il a fallu demandé à un commerçant où nous pouvions jeter les poubelles, et ce n'est pas évident dans le vieux Nice).
Nous gardons néanmoins un bon souvenir de notre séjour, entre autre pour la beauté des plafonds pour la vue des fenêtres et pour Nice.

Ved ankomsten var der ikke varm vand. Vi skulle kontakte med udlejeren og fik varm vand først flere timer efter. Lejlighed var meget kold (+6c) om natten, så vi skulle tænde for radiatorer, men varmen kom først dagen efter (lejlighed var slet ikke forberedt til gæster's ankomst). Spillevand i køkken kom ikke væk med det samme, så vi ikke kunne lave mad. I hele opgangen var der bygge arbejde i gang, så det lugtede af cement og maling samt byggesnavs kom ind i lejlighed. På badeværelse manglede der lys, så det var svært at barbere/sminke sig. Hele lejlighed ser ubeboet ud. Der manager køkkenredskaber.

Communication was poor, we were never sent instructions on how to get in and when we requested the instructions we had to go through 3 people to get them. We were asked what time we would check out and we said 9:50am, despite this cleaners we’re knocking at the door from 9:25 which certainly made us feel like we’re being very rushed and unwelcome at this time. We don’t blame the cleaners at all, we think there was poor communication from those running the account. We were asked to remove all rubbish from the house, which is fine, however we naturally accumulated a bit over 5 days and we weren’t given instructions on where to put it, when we asked for help we were given really vague instructions again and people on the street helped us with more detailed advise.

Things of improvement would be cleanliness of the staircase as it was quite smelly and amenities in the apartment. Also, I faced alot of issues with wifi speed and connection of my mobile network, over-all the experience with check-in and check-out was good.

Bonjour, l’emplacement est très bien situé, en coeur de la vieille ville. C’est un peu bruyant ce qui semble logique au regard de la proximité avec les restaurants et commodités. Le logement est spacieux et fonctionnel. En bémol, la prestation de nettoyage était moyenne notamment dans la salle de bains et un vrai kit de démarrage avec des produits de base (liquide vaisselle, café, huile…) aurait été appréciable.

Trevlig lägenhet i anrikt gammalt hus med närhet till havet men inget bra boende för ljudkänsliga!

Lägenheten var stor och rymlig och läget tre minuter från den underbara stranden var toppen! Värden var lätt att kommunicera med via sms. Fantastiska restauranger i närheten, särskilt Le Tire Bouchon på samma gata. Sängarna var sköna! Det var bra med ett extra duschrum eftersom vi var tre. Kul att bo i ett så fint gammalt hus och att Nicola Paganini har bott där!

Det saknades information om var sopor kunde slängas samt hur tvättmaskin och diskmaskin fungerade. Vi bodde en vecka i lägenheten utan att handdukarna byttes ut och toalettpapper fylldes på. Handdukarna hade vi kunnat tvätta själva men vi kunde inte få igång tvättmaskinen. Golvet var så smutsigt att det inte gick att gå barfota utan att bli helt svart av damm under fötterna. Hela trapphuset är under renovering (200 år gammalt) och det luktade illa av fuktskador. Oväsendet från gatan var konstant även under nätterna och vi väcktes ofta, öronproppar rekommenderas.

The Unit has an amazing location, you are in the middle of Old town and close to everywhere but because of this it's very very noisy, it's impossible to sleep with the windows open at night but when you close the windows it's extremely hot since they have no AC in the unit. It's very hot and was difficult to sleep. The wifi does not work or when it works it's very slow. The local person was not helpful at all. She did not know where the router was so we can re booth it.

Très bien situé en plein cœur du vieux Nice. Proximité des animations de rue , des commerces, des lieux à visiter. Un seul point à bien évaluer, c'est que cette proximité va de pair avec les bruits qui vont avec. Fenêtres fermées, les nuisances disparaissent (très bonne isolation acoustique). Mais conséquence, en cas de fortes chaleurs, l'appartement devient vite 'très chaud'.

Il est à noter cependant que le quartier est un peu bruyant.

The location is fantastic, but that does come with the noise, which is to be expected. Even with double glazing, there is party noise all night until 4am then town services start early hours so I'd recommend earplugs unless you are a very heavy sleeper. It was rather unclear on how to find the place, the keys were at a random shop who had no clue where the apartment was. Once we found the building it was unclear which apartment was ours or which keys we needed to use, so that could have been made clearer with some photos. The internet was very slow and randomly disconnected which was a shame. The main door to the building on the ground floor doesn't have any means of locking which seems like a security risk as anyone can just push the door open. The stairway itself is literally falling apart with crumbling plaster and scaffolding holding it up which is rather disconcerting and is in desperate need of proper repair. The apartment itself was fine though. Spacious and had everything you need for a short stay. Though the floors were quite dirty, so our feet and socks got filthy!
Overall it was fine. No major complaints but some issues that stop it being a great stay. Do note there is no aircon which was fine for us, but would be a problem in the height of summer. Thanks!

Thank you for a fantastic stay in a very central location! Located right in the middle of the old city, this apartment is ideally situated. Just a short walk to the Promenade des Anglais, and heaps of eating and shopping options right outside the door, it would be difficult to imagine a better spot to be located in Nice. The apartment features high ceilings, big rooms, a beautiful bathroom, and full kitchen - it was a pleasure staying there. As others have commented, it can be noisy at night, but if you prepare for that (bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper) you'll be fine. Overall we had a very positive experience and won't hesitate to return.

The check in staff was extremely hands and on proactive. The location of the property was brilliant. In the heart of old Nice. Just below were some amazing restaurants and coffee shops. Also it was a 5 min walk from the promenade and castle hill.
However, the flat is in a building where the walk way up is not well maintained or too clean. Also, the wifi was NOT working throughout our stay. One day we also had bad odour in one of the bathrooms. We didn’t bother with the wifi else I’m sure their team would have helped us with it

The flat is in a very good position. But it is not "bright" - no sunshine. The entrance is the worst we have ever experienced : a shambolic dirty corridor and a broken stepped staircase with no lift to the second floor. There is appalling noise at night from other people living in the neighbouring flats.
The flat is depressingly bare. There is no welcoming literature and no info as to how things work. The Nice agent is unfriendly and unhelpful. E mail attachments which do not open are no substitute for on site help.
These are major drawbacks and we would advise others to be very wary of booking this property.

This review isn't specifically about the property because I ultimately wasn't able to make this trip to Nice due to the Covid travel restrictions. This review is about the property management and their complete lack of customer service. They were very unresponsive. I sent multiple messages that went unanswered over these last several months. I had to go through booking.com before I got any responses. My real issue is simply the inflexibility with the reservation during this Covid pandemic. All I wanted was a credit to use toward new dates at a time when travel isn't restricted. I was forced to pick a new date back in the spring to take this trip, not knowing that travel would still be so up in the air in mid-September. I understand they have a business to run and I'm sure they've been heavily impacted during this difficult time - but keeping my £700 when I wasn't able to travel is just unacceptable to me. They've had months to figure out a more flexible system during an uncertain time for all of us. It just reminds me why working with small businesses is dangerous for the consumer - you risk losing all your money! And frankly there just wasn't any effort from the management company to even discuss the situation with me. Recouping any portion of my money would have been acceptable. A credit toward a future reservation....anything! The whole experience was really disappointing. So I would just caution anyone from booking with them because of their complete lack of customer service.
