## Emplacement
Le 8ème arrondissement de Paris est un quartier assez central. Vous pouvez rejoindre la Tour Eiffel en 15 minutes chrono ! L'appartement est situé à 10 minutes du magnifique Parc Monceau, à 15 minutes des Champs Elysées et de l'Opéra de Paris à pied. En Métro, la tour eiffel se situe à 10 minutes en ligne 9 avec la station Miromesnil qui se situe à 5 min à pied. Vous accèderez à l'appartement depuis l'aéroport d'Orly en ligne 14 en 30 minutes. L'arrêt "Saint Lazare" sur la 14" se trouve à moins de 10 minutes à pied de l'appartement.
A proximité se trouvent les lignes suivantes: Ligne 9, 12, 13, 3, 14, 7, RER A, gare St Lazarre etc.
Situé dans un quartier d'affaire, le midi, vous aurez 1000 options pour déjeuner. Le soir, c'est très calme, vous pourrez vous sentir en pleine sécurité très tranquille pour y dormir.

Not proving apartment access upon arrival is unprofessional, Nasfi Youssouf should be fired

Nasfi Youssouf, the property manager from Hostnfly, chose to not do the job he's paid for. I emailed & had confirmed my arrival time, yet there was no access to the building or apartment. Took me 45 minutes to get in with the help of Helen, the building manager, & a tenant that spoke english. Given a phone #, didn't answer the first time, & don't tell you with an American phone, you take off the first zero on the phone #, & add +, which you have to hold down 0 for, then add the number 33 for France. Will need Whatsapp to get in. No apt network wi-fi given, so I had no gmail in Paris with T-Mobil roaming. Hostnfly will ask for a 250 EUR credit card deposit for damages hold before apt access will be given, should have just stated & held upfront through booking.com
Fine, good location, did not live up to expectations.
Positive:
The location was great. Nice neighborhood and two metro stops close by. Check-in was ok although I received many and sometimes conflicting messages from 3 different parties. There was coffee upon arrival which I appreciated. Nice pans for cooking and a dishwasher. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was nice and light. The weather was wonderfully warm but it did not get hot inside.

I was shocked by the extra cleaning fees on top of my booking. I had not noticed the small letters and thought that fee was part of the fee displayed in big bold letters but it came on top of the fees per night. I tried to cancel immediately but received quite an unfriendly reply (in the line of you should have known better missus!). Taking my loss, I thought: "at least it will be clean, considerating I am paying 100 euro to have it cleaned". But it wasn't great. There was no toilet paper, toilet bowl was dirty, shower corners were grubby, freezer fully blocked, bathroom mat was just gross. That was disappointing. Crockery was lacking (no plates) and the promised city view was non-existent as it overlooks the patio.
Be aware, it is on the 3rd floor without a lift which did not bother us but if you struggle with stairs, it might be a lot.
