Notre expérience n'a pas débutée sur une bonne note, puisque le ménage n'avait pas été fait que de manière très superficielle. Seule consolation, les draps de lits et matelas étaient propres.
Il manquait de produits essentiels pour profiter pleinement du lave-vaisselle et de la laveuse, puisque qu'aucune pastille n'avait été fournie. Aucune mitaine de four non plus. Le gestionnaire était supposé rectifier la situation, mais n'a jamais donné suite.
Sans oublier les mauvaises odeurs d’égouts persistantes quotidiennes extrêmement désagréable dans l’appartement.
Après plusieurs échanges avec Wellkeys, on nous a offert après notre départ, un petit crédit de 96,64$CA, ce qui à notre avis est insuffisant pour les inconvénients.
Nous avons fait des recommandations à Wellkeys afin qu’ils offrent un meilleur suivi proactif pour s’assurer du bien-être des voyageurs et de la qualité des installations dès le jour 1 . Espérons qu'ils en prennent note dans le futur.

L'appartement est bien situé. L'endroit est calme. L'accueil est charmant et Welkeys est efficace. La literie est de bonne qualité. La télévision est à écran plat de grand format, la fibre est présente ainsi que le WI-FI. L'ascenseur est bien.

Petits bémols, c'est le manque de couverts et de vaisselle nous obligeant à faire tourner le lave vaiselle à moitié vide ! Ce n'est pas grave en soit mais cela coûte cher en electricité et en eau, pour rien.
La capacité du chauffe-eau de 80 L beaucoup trop faible pour 4 personnes alors si vous venez à 6 personnes, ça ne le fera pas...

L'importo della cauzione deve essere evidenziato: se l'avessi visto, non avrei mai prenotato: con 700 euro si poteva rinnovare tutto il mobilio. Ad ogni modo ho dovuto spendere 30 euro per assicurarmi, sarebbe più trasparente aumentare i prezzi di 30 euro così lo stesso gestore potrebbe assicurarsi e non creare problemi agli ospiti.

Very good location, close to the station, shops, bakeries and within a walking distance to the beach and to Old Nice. Spacious apartment - everything worked as expected. Great communication with Elisa, our local host.

It can be quite hot in August in the building; the provided fans were very useful, but air conditioning could be better.
The doors in the apartment looked dirty, maybe they can be washed or just need painting.
Would be great to have some instructions on how to recycle some rubbish, like plastic bottles for example.

The experience at this property was very disappointing. The bed was broken on arrival and appeared to have been previously poorly repaired with glue (not sure if it was previous guests or the agency itself). Although it was eventually fixed late that night, it still felt unsafe as there were loose screws exposed, which could easily cause injury.
Another major issue was the request to authorize my card for a security deposit through Swikly. After providing the authorization, I noticed several random charges attempted on my card without any prior notification or explanation. If this process were legitimate, I would expect to receive clear communication about what these charges were for — but I received nothing, which felt like a scam.
Cleanliness was another major issue: my towel was dirty and I got a clean one 2 days after (specifically the night before we left the apartment). The furniture was old and worn, and the floor had not been cleaned properly. I even took videos to document the condition of the property. I am not sure why such a place even need a security deposit.
Also keep in mind there is not air conditioning, this was completely my fault for not noticing which is why we did not complain. The windows are very big and a lot of sun comes in, especially during August and its extremely hot despite having fans.
As a Level 3 Booking.com member, I have stayed at many places and have never experienced anything this bad. I cannot recommend this property.

Also, there were no cleaning utensils or vacuum cleaner there so we couldn’t clean up the apartment while staying there. Other than that the apartment was amazing. Perfect location in a quiet but central location. The apartment itself was nice and the balcony was great. Very responsive hosts, easy check in and check out.

- Perfekte Lage, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufs- sowie Ausgangsmöglichkeiten von Nizza zu geniessen
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und während 2 Wochen Nizza und die Umgebung genossen.
Direkt vor dem Haus ist ein Parkieren nicht möglich (Feuerwehr-Wache mit reservierten Parkplätzen).
Im nahegelegenen Nicetoile (Einkaufszentrum) konnten wir aber ein Monatsabo lösen, was die Kosten für das Parken deutlich reduziert.

We couldn’t use the kitchen, we had to eat all the meals outside.
The only solution proposed by agent in charge was to spray insecticide, when the kitchen didn’t even have a door. That was not helpful.
Very late replies, and no help was given even after contacting them many times.
It was a disaster and a total disappointment.
WELKEYS : HELLKEYS les clés de l'enfer

Fuyez ces escrocs. Ma mésaventure avec ces gens semble malheureusement classique, à la lecture des nombreux avis catastrophiques des voyageurs et même des propriétaires qui ont la mauvaise idée de leur confier leur logement. Lisez tous les avis négatifs, pas seulement les positifs que Booking, Google ou Trustpilot mettent en avant.
Pendant mon séjour, je constate que le sélecteur de douche flexible/plafond, dont on ne se servait pas (on restait sur la douche plafond), était cassé. De toute évidence il s’agissait d’un premier prix (ca vaut 55 € sur le net après recherche). Ne voulant pas être tenu pour responsable d’une dégradation que je n’ai pas commise, je leur signale immédiatement, avec photo, via le formulaire web de l’organisme de caution. Aucune réaction, personne ne se présente au check-out.
Le lendemain de mon départ, je reçois un mail m’informant que ma caution de 500€ allait être encaissée à la demande de la conciergerie en raison d’un support (sic) de douche cassé. S’en suivent des échanges de mails ubuesques avec l’organisme qui me dit suivre les instructions de la conciergerie, avec la conciergerie qui me renvoie vers l’organisme. Après plusieurs demandes, ils m’envoient des photos, qui s’avèrent être celles du sélecteur que je leur ai signalé cassé (et qui coute 55€). A chaque mail, ils confirment inlassablement qu’ils conservent la caution, sans rien justifier. Ils jouent clairement sur la lassitude, voire le désarroi des gens qui n’osent pas les attaquer. Je ne suis qu’au début de mon action.
Ces gens vous escroquent donc de manière très simple : en vous accusant d’une dégradation que vous n’avez pas commise, ils débitent totalité de la caution, même si la réparation ne coute qu’une fraction de celle ci. Ensuite, vous pouvez tout argumenter, autant pisser dans un violon, ils vous répondent qu’ils conservent la caution.

1 (smaller) - there was nothing provided to clean the dishes, no soap and nothing to use in the dishwasher. so we had to leave dirty dishes.
2 (bigger) - the amount and style of communication with Welkeys (managing the flat) is absurd. they send lots of emails, reminders even weeks before arriving. then the manager sent me lots of audio messages on whatsapp (!) around the days we were there. she never replied to my question where to leave the keys, but then reached out few days later to ask about remote control from the tv? unprofessional and not well structured.

The property wasn’t cleaned properly prior our arrival, the shower looked very messy, the floors weren’t clean throughout the whole apartment, in the kitchen we found insects, ants all over the place, some small issues like a broken toilet seat, which we haven’t reported and as a result had to pay for it. we have never stayed in an apartment that doesn’t supply washing liquid and the sponge to clean the dishes was so OLD we had to buy a new one. one dishwashing towel even though we were there for 5 nights! supplies were very let’s say NOTHING. we left coffee caps, dishwashing liquid and a few other things but I bet the cleaning staff will take them as most places like this cupboards can have many things left by other guests but this place was left bone dry!

Positive:
Le logement est situé à proximité de la gare et du tram. Nous sommes arrivés dans un appartement propre; les lits faits. L'appartement est spacieux, lumineux, calme, confortable et bien meublé. Idéal pour visiter Nice, tout peut se faire à pied sinon l'arrêt de tram est juste à côté. Très bons échanges avec la personne chargée des clés. Je recommande.

The property was good but the issues we had overshadowed our stay.

Stylish and nicely appointed property in a pretty good location. Spacious and good size for a family of five.
Negative:
Very challenging check in process. Needed help from a resident passerby to find the key box which is in a weird location. Instruction video that the host sent me wouldn’t load. No dish soap, no dish cloth, only one reduced toilet paper roll for a family of five and no paper towel. And one dishwasher tablet only. So basically lacking in essential supplies. At least 4 texts about checking out (when will you leave? oh and here’s another text about an on-line check out process you need to fill out about leaving, and then another text about getting out of the property by 10 am and not a minute later and then a very rude text about leaving the apartment in good condition with all the dishes washed and garbage taken out (garbage room was no where to be found in the building) and alluding to the deposit being withheld if Manager didn’t like what they saw after we left). It might have been a translation issue but it upset us during our stay to keep receiving messages all day about checking out. We were only there two nights!

Apartment dat veel beter kan scoren met wat extra aandacht hier en daar.

vloer in hele apartment niet schoon, keukenkastjes, douche wanden, badkamer deur niet schoon, mistte theepot en meerdere theekoppen, en communicatie met verhuurbedrijf heel slecht . ik kreeg drie whatsapp telefoongesprekken met Franse nrs die mij niet bekend waren over inchecken de borg en hoe uit te checken.
tip: zorg dat er een handleiding ligt hoe de checkout gaat en wie er de sleutels komt halen of waar je ze kan neerleggen (weer terug in het kastje leggen ook een optie?) geen airco aanwezig in apartment

We had a lovely stay in Nice. The apartment was nice. The bad start was a bit of a sour note.

The fact that nobody turned up to let us into the apartment and we were left standing outside at midnight in the middle of a city. I had to ring an emergency number and nobody appeared to know what I was talking about. Eventually we were told the apartment wasn’t available that night and they put us up in a hotel. We would have forgiven everything, if they (Wellkeys) hadn’t tried to overcharge us. They changed our booking to 6 nights, which, strangely, was more expensive than the 7 nights we had originally paid for.

It’s very clean, no air conditioning but fans are provided In every room and they’re sufficient. The kitchen is very well stocked and we had every machine we needed. The bathroom is clean and there’s a washing machine (with the detergent) and there are enough towels as well. It’s 10min walk away from the beach and there’s a good bunch of supermarkets near it. Honestly would stay here again.

They only give one set of keys no matter the number of ppl staying at the property. This is a huge inconvenience. The bathroom gets dirty fast cos the drainage in the shower and sink is poor.

Before return from vacation, I wanted to write only good words about the apartment. We lived in the apartment from 9th April to 16th April and I waited 1 month for writing review, because I wanted write only good words today, but... life is life and real situation not so good.

The journey was super!, impressive and we were happy. But then in the evening of 16th April when I arrived home in Latvia I received an e-mail from Welkeys Apartment Nice with information that shocked me. They took 300 EUR deposit. I quote they text "Dear, Following your stay, we found the linen and mattress stained with coffee. We are trying to wash the mattress but we are not sure that is possible to remove the stain. We will let you know if we need to buy a new one. Best regards". I wrote the answer and my brother tried many times to call Sebastien, but we didn't get the answers.I know that all businesses have schemes to survive and make money, but if you take 300 EUR deposit for nothing, it's not normal.
Before leaving we managed to tidy the apartment and we washed the sinks, such a fools :D
We didn't make parties (with mum drunk bottle of wine :D), didn't break furniture and other things. We were responsible for place where we lived. And the worst thing was that the company didn't care that we also have an opinion about this situation. Messages and calls were ignored by host Sebastien. Cooperation with company in problem situations 0/10.
We are very angry and offended. We are not rich people, who should sponsored foreign companies, but a simple family from Latvia.
Yes, I stained the towel because I had dyed hair before traveling. Sorry, that's my fault. Oky, by the new one, but other money???
My heart hurts for this attitude. Where are pictures, proof? And what is communication? Just take the money and elope.
Definitely I don't recommend any cooperation with this company, if you want to be happy after the returnin home.
P.S. BED LINEN AND TOWELS PUT IN YOUR SUITCASE FROM HOME, THERE IT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAIN.
