## Emplacement
De son passé, Fréjus a conservé un grand nombre de monuments. En effet, avec 2 000 ans d'histoire, cette ville d'Art et d'Histoire du Var possède un important patrimoine historique et architectural.
Les vestiges romains sont les plus anciennes traces de son passé et se composent d'un amphithéâtre, d'un théâtre et d'un aqueduc dont subsistent quelques piliers et arcades. Datant de la fin du Ier siècle, les arènes pouvaient accueillir près de 12 000 spectateurs venus assister aux combats de gladiateurs !
Dans la vieille ville, le groupe épiscopal de Fréjus, construit entre le Ve et le XVIe siècle, fait lui aussi partie de ce patrimoine remarquable. Il réunit la belle cathédrale Saint-Léonce, dotée d'un clocher de style roman et de deux nefs reliées entre elles par plusieurs arcades. Mais aussi le baptistère de forme octogonale datant du Ve siècle, l'un des plus anciens de France, le palais épiscopal transformé en hôtel de ville, ainsi que le cloître roman, dont le plafond en bois a été orné de personnages et d'animaux réels ou imaginaires. Le musée archéologique qui jouxte le cloître abrite quant à lui de remarquables pièces sculptées antiques issues des fouilles menées dans la ville romaine.

Nice apartment with 'green' view over gardens and pool in a good location Emilie is a good concierge
Positive:
The apartment was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and good size bathroom/shower. A good location close to the station which is a good hub to explore the region as is the bus station on the other side of the central area. Emilie, the concierge, was very helpful and professional with the check in and check out as well as arranging the supply of bed linen and towels which were not included in the booking price.
Negative:
We would not make another booking that involved Host'n'Fly who seemed to have a role in marketing this apartment rentals (and many others apparently) which included something called Swikly for deposit security. We have made many bookings through Booking.com and will be more cautious about any booking that includes further parties in the process. Host'n'Fly only seemed interested in flagging up that bed linen and towels were a separate charge. Due to the season many of the local commerces were closed for holidays but St. Raphael close by had very good shopping facilities.
Goede locatie op 5’ van kust en centrum. Net appartement met alles aanwezig om een leuk verblijf te beleven.

Alles aanwezig, zelfs wasmachine wat zeker geapprecieerd werd.

1 enkele sleutel/badge, wat het wat moeilijker maakte in dit geval.

The location is really close to the old Roman city/Remains of the ancient fortress (nothing exceptional but still hundreds of years ago). Sea is a 10-minute walk along the wonderful Boulevard de la Mer. The apartment is fully equipped and even has a folding chair for the pool. The electrical appliances are quiet (air conditioner, refrigerator, etc.), and the room's arrangement is practical. The WC is small, and it might be an issue for a tall or heavy visitor.
Keep in mind (!!): The parking spaces are quite narrow. On top of that, I had an issue with a lady –old enough, I have to say– who had the right-hand side parking spot. She had an old, rusted, silver Peugeot 308 (she told me that she had had that "308" since her marriage!), and she was going in and out of the parking lot 2–3 times a day. She carelessly opened her doors while carrying groceries, etc., and scratched the back door of my car two days in a row.
I don't care if the French don't pay attention to such issues. They have to respect tourists. Also, the accommodating company (HOSTNFLY) should issue her a severe warning. It is totally unacceptable from both sides.
