It is an amazing house with a lot of fascinating history and we were made to feel very welcome. (Although no one actually met us until the fourth day).
Lots of outdoor areas to eat or relax in, including the area around the swimming pool - a very sociable garden.
Sadly the second floor got almost unbearably hot during the heatwave we had. We took our own fans but they were really not enough.
The main bedroom had air con. which was bliss.
We would have also welcomed the beds in the annex being made up.
Although we were only 19 maximum just for one night, the logistics with 4 families made it difficult to put 2 people in every double bed.
Lilia was brilliant when the filter for the swimming pool failed. She did all she could for several days until the pool people were able to fix it.
We would have welcomed a local information file or leaflets as we were new to the area, although there was information about the previous owners & history of the house.
All in all a great success!

Wonderful old French house with extensive beautifully maintained grounds. Nice pool area but sloping away from the pool so sun loungers not really possible. Large areas where children can play and two sides of the house to eat outside depending on the sun. Very well equipped kitchen with lots of up to date appliances (but no instructons for use). Large bedrooms some with en-suite facilities, others with shared ones. Only one bedroom had air con but the host had provided fans for the others, We stayed during a heat wave and were comfortable at night. An excellent property. However, we were all badly bitten by mosquitoes. Take repellant and bite cream!The property is managed by Guestadom, a French concierge company. Our contact had unexpected family problems and so our only contact was by WhatsApp messages and some phone calls. She was helpful in supplying us with the address of the local Accident and Emergency department but otherwise we felt that the service Guestadom provided was not what we expected from a professional service. The accomodation notes were lacking many details we would have expected. It was only by reading a set of other instructions that we discovered the house did have wifi as the person showing us round seemed to have no knowledge of the house at all. Not all the beds were made up on arrival, only the number in our party which meant that we could not use all the bedrooms as we wished etc. Overall, though, a lovely property for a large family holiday.

We stayed here as a group of 17 adults and 3 children to celebrate our 30th birthdays, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place for such a special occasion.The house, gardens, and grounds are absolutely stunning, and the pool area was the highlight of our stay. We spent most of our days relaxing by the pool, and having the poolside kitchenette made it so convenient for drinks and snacks. The beautiful gardens are immaculately maintained, with plenty of peaceful spots to sit and enjoy the surroundings. It really felt like our own private oasis.The house is incredibly well-equipped, especially for a large group. There was more than enough cooking equipment to prepare meals for everyone, and every room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spotlessly clean.The location is perfect too. Angers is just a 10–15 minute drive away and is a lovely city to explore, while the nearest supermarket is only 3 minutes away.We honestly couldn’t fault a thing. We had the most amazing week making memories with friends, and it was the perfect place to celebrate together.A special thank you to Lilia, who was so warm, welcoming, and always just a text away if we needed anything.We would absolutely love to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property!
