This Airbnb is a great location, a little hard to find but a sweet spot.
We did have some issues getting in as the instructions on how to open the first two gates were not listed and if you don’t have data or from out of country it’s a bit of a nightmare.
The place looked exactly like its photos, but due to some issues I can tell why it is priced the way it is. There is construction outside which is noisy and dusty. So we didn’t use the outside area much; however, they were transparent. The real issue came from living conditions after being there for a few days. My husband and I kept the place clean, but there were ants. They even crawled on me while sitting on the couch. There was green mold on the wooden lamp next to the bed and the couches smelt moldy and I believe it’s because the place was so humid. I think it’s why we got sick during/after our stay there. We tried our best to put the dehumidifier on and open windows but it was unavoidable.
I do not recommend this Airbnb.

We had a wonderful stay at the Atlantico Azul apartment with Rental Valley. The apartment was exactly as described and pictured, spotless, well laid out, and equipped with everything we could possibly need, which made settling in effortless.
The team were incredibly reliable and patient, always quick to respond and happy to walk us through even our daft questions, which really added to how relaxed the stay felt. A some-what unexpected bonus was the construction site next door, which turned into the most reliable morning alarm clock we didn’t know we needed and helped us make the most of every day exploring Lagos.

My girlfriend and I had a wonder stay at this accommodation in Lagos the Airbnb was lovely and exactly as described the location was super nice and very walkable to all the main attractions we would definitely come back and highly recommend!!

The apartment looked nice, but as soon as we entered we noticed a strong odor (likely from the dampness and mold) and green mold on the living room table, wooden panels above the bed, bedside lamps and other untreated wooden furniture. We complained and they offered to clean the surface mold. Regardless of these peoblems we decided to stay as we were tired and didn't want to waste our holidays looking for another place to stay and arguing with the agency. On the second night, water started dripping from the ceiling which made it impossible to stay in the apartment any longer. We asked for a refund, but they only offered refund for the final night. I asked for Airbnb Resolution Centre to get involved and they refunded all our money. Given the seriousness of the problems and possible health risks that mold poses I think it was a fair decision. The Rental Valley could have acknowledged that, apologized and issued us a full refund, but they didn't.

The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated. Everything feels very new and clean! The location was also great, a short 15min walk to the centre and the beach and lots of free parking space around the area. The only thing to highlight is that the apartment clearly has a humidity issue as there was an intense stuffy smell when entering the apartment. Otherwise everything was great :)
