Ce tout nouvel appartement d'une chambre offre une vue imprenable sur la mer depuis le balcon, qui surplombe également la piscine commune et les jardins soigneusement entretenus de ce complexe populaire.
Avec un accès direct à Praia da Angrinha et au château de São João do Arade, ainsi qu'une courte promenade jusqu'à la plage populaire Praia Grande, cet appartement est idéalement situé. Une sélection de cafés et restaurants à proximité vous permet de profiter de l'atmosphère et de la culture locales.
L'appartement comprend un salon/salle à manger, une cuisine entièrement équipée, une chambre avec un lit king-size et une salle de bain avec douche à l'italienne. Depuis le salon et la chambre, vous bénéficiez d'une vue imprenable sur la mer en direction de Portimão et de la Marina. Un endroit idéal pour s'asseoir et "regarder le monde passer" avec un verre de vin tout en admirant le coucher de soleil.

## Neighborhood
Ferragudo est un village de pêcheurs traditionnel chargé d'histoire où vous pouvez encore voir les pêcheurs revenir avec leur prise du jour. Dans et autour des rues pavées et des cottages blanchis à la chaux, vous trouverez la place principale, Praça Rainha Dona Leonor, avec de nombreux cafés et restaurants proposant une variété de cuisines internationales.
De l'autre côté de la rivière se trouve l'une des plus grandes villes de l'Algarve, Portimão, et la magnifique plage de Praia da Rocha. Si vous recherchez un peu plus d'aventure et de vie nocturne, c'est ici qu'il faut être, avec ses nombreux bars et restaurants ouverts tard dans la nuit.
À environ 10 minutes en voiture, vous trouverez la station balnéaire populaire de Carvoeiro et certains des meilleurs parcours de golf de l'Algarve. Que vous souhaitiez explorer l'Algarve ou simplement vous détendre, cet endroit est parfait pour poser vos valises. Bien qu'il y ait des transports publics à proximité, nous vous recommandons de louer une voiture.
## Transit
Depuis l'aéroport de Faro, vous pouvez rejoindre l'appartement en 50 minutes en voiture ou en 90 minutes en transports en commun. La plage est accessible à pied.
Le meilleur moyen de parcourir la côte algarvienne est en voiture ou en bateau. Si vous souhaitez explorer davantage, une voiture de location facilitera vos déplacements, car les transports en commun sont limités. Dans Carvoeiro, aucun transport spécial n'est nécessaire, car tout peut se faire à pied.

Mooi uitzicht en vlakbij het strand.

Het uitzicht van het appartement is fantastisch. De hele dag varen er bootjes langs. Bij mooi weer heb je 's middags nog de zon op je balkon. Het bed lag lekker en het is er erg rustig. Geen lawaai van binnen of buiten. Vlakbij het strand en een mooi zwembad in de tuin (al heb je daar niet veel aan in december ;-). Je loopt zo over het strand het authentieke vissersstadje in. Leuk!

De hele periode dat we er waren (kleine week) was het licht op de gang defect (ook de noodverlichting). Je moest 's avonds met een zaklamp door het gebouw lopen. Waarschijnlijk was het appartement al een tijdje niet verhuurd. Het voelde klam/vochtig aan in het appartement, niet heel prettig. De ramen waren 's ochtends helemaal nat aan de binnenkant. Het appartement is naar onze mening een beetje gedateerd.

I was chilled from start to finish with the rental. The awe-inspiring view, the wonderful pool and the peacefulness of the accomodation added with the cleanliness made for a fabulous stay. The location with the castle and boats passing was never boring. The bed was large and most comfortable, wardrobes filled with hangers. An excellent shower. Rental set up with handy personal essentials ( toiletries and cleaning supplies ) Good air-con. My mum and I were indeed happy with everything. We hope to return.

Enjoyable stay
Stayed at this complex several times and it has limitations if you compare it with some of the newer modern apartments but we find its location is dificult to beat. The view is great, and the access to the beeches and restaurants excellent. Would be difficult to improve without rebuilding.

Kitchen was also well equipped for dining in, all very clean with updated bathroom and comfortable beds. Parking is on the street but never a problem. Manager responded quickly to our questions. Definitely a great spot to stay.

Location was fabulous. The apartment was stocked with everything as well as small starter packs for kitchen & bathroom. Very spacious with the most amazing uninterrupted views across the river to Portimao.

Late check in & early checkout. Felt that Rental Valley could have been more facilitating to access building (not apartment) earlier to store luggage or access pool area. This is standard in any accommodation we have ever stayed in. Hauling a suitcase around in 30° is not fun. Our flight landed at 8.30am so it was a long day. The only option they offered was a luggage facility in Portimao.

We stayed in Ferragudo for 4 nights and had a very enjoyable stay at the flat. Location was amazing and the village was easily accessible on foot, within minutes. Everything in the flat was as advertised and the view from the balcony was amazing. As we didn’t get to do everything on our list, we will definitely be back. We would definite recommend this flat.

Great communication - thanks to Whatsapp! Rental was spacious. Bed was (king size) or 2 twins pushed together, very comfortable. Excellent location! It was great to have all amenities so close. No need to jump in the car unless going elsewhere in the Algarve.

The property is in a peaceful location within a short walk to Ferragudo, with its choice of restaurants. We went in early October and were the only people using the pool, so it felt very private. The view from the balcony is really nice - across the river to Portimao. The property is very spacious and clean.
Only slight problem was finding it ! We drove around for ages and had to phone Rental Valley for directions. The apartments are not visible from the road and the access is via a brown door in an inconspicuous small building, but the instructions for getting access via the keys/code were fine once we knew where it was !

This apartment is amazing - probably the best equipped Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The view was to die for, lovely terrace, big living area, kitchen space and bedroom. Really peaceful and the pool area was great. Powerful walk-in shower, the bed was really comfortable and lots of things provided - pool towels, washing machine tablets, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, toilet roll, hand soap etc. making for a very easy start to the holiday. Kitchen has a normal sized integral fridge - fine for our 2 week stay. Easy 5 minute walk along the beach or over the top road into town - supermarkets, restaurants, bars, gelateria, atms etc. Our fave was Terracotta - fantastic food and amazing view from roof terrace tables. Great to be able to walk round the rocks below the castle at low tide to Praia Grande - in our view the cleanest beach / sea in the Algarve. Kalu is a fab beach bar (best to book for lunch). There's a Lidl on the outskirts of town. Would very definitely stay again...

The apartment was in a great location with nice views and walkable to Ferragudo restaurants. It was well appointed and clean, however, the fridge was very small so not great for a long term stay. Also, the building is built into a hill and faced west towards the river and this meant it was damp and cool in February with no sunshine into the apartment until 1:30 in the afternoon.
We would strongly recommend the apartment for a short term rental in a non winter month.

Sifon douche moet beter belicht worden, stinkt na ieder wc bezoek, trekt wc water uit douche en krijg je vieze rioollucht.
Wij hebben na ieder wc bezoek, water in de douche laten lopen tegen de Gore lucht.
Bij zwembad waren 7 bedden waarvan er 5 ligbedden kapot waren.
Je kon daar niet lekker liggen omdat ze stuk waren.

.Die Lage des Appartements ist wunderbar. Zu Fuß ist man in wenigen Minuten bei den 2 Strandcafes/Bar/Lokalen, die ich für mich zu den Schönsten und Nettesten in ganz Europa zähle. Der Hauptplatz mit vielen Lokalen befindet sich 5 Minuten am Strand entlang entfernt. Es gibt ein Taxiboot für wenige Euro, dass auf die andere Seite nach Portimao fährt.
Das Appartement ist schick mit allem, eingerichtet, was man braucht. Die Betten sind sehr gut zum Liegen. Die Dusche ist riesig. Es gibt 2 Balkone.
2 kleine Einkaufsläden sin praktisch um die Ecke.

A lovely location, nice beaches and restaurants, some management shortcomings as listed above;

but it was let down by some management shortcomings. (see below)
Negative:
A. We were in Apt 4, got in on Fri evening and retrieved keys from box, including the key for the front door. However this key did not work. After some time someone on the inside opened the door for us and explained that a code was needed. They accepted that we were guests and gave us the access code. This front door code requirement was not in the instructions received.
B. The safe in the apt was closed and locked and the instructions in the folder dis not show how to open a locked safe. It needed a master key to open and reset it. I contacted the company - Rental Valley - by email on Sun 26th and called them on Tues 28th Jul. They would have to send a representative to open it.
C. We decided to cook on Sunday but found that the instructions available did not correspond to the type of hob - Teka ceramic induction hob. When the cooking ring was selected the number shows for some minutes and then started flashing and the hob shut down. The instructions in the booklet were useless as they referred to a different model of hob. Eventually on Tuesday when we made contact with Rental Valley by phone it was suggested that the pan may have be put on the selected plate first before it will heat up, and this turned out to be that case. As we are gas users at home this was unknown to us and as the Instructions provided were for a different hob type they were of no use to us. The oven instructions were also not relevant to the type supplied but we dealt with that ourselves.
These three matters undermined our enjoyment of the location and the otherwise good apartment. These three items should have been sorted by good management practice, and not by a guest bringing these to management's attention.

Top locatie, keurig appartement met fijn balkon en dichtbij strand.

De locatie van de accommodatie. Loopafstand strand, dorpje, winkeltjes, terrasjes, restaurants enz. Een ruim balkon waar het fijn zitten was in de namiddagzon. Uitzicht op het water was ook leuk. Het probleem van de verstopte toilet op dag 2 werd dezelfde dag opgelost, prima service. Fijne douche. WiFi was prima (ondanks eerdere reviews waarin stond dat het slecht was). Prima uitgeruste keuken (pannen, ovenschalen, magnetron, oven, enz.).
Negative:
Er was geen waterkoker, parkeermogelijkheden waren beperkt (1 vak voor 2 appartementen voor 2 hele kleine autootjes, in de praktijk met 1 normale auto vol). Ze zijn erg zuinig met toiletpapier (2 kleine rolletjes voor 5 dagen), vaatwasblokjes (2 voor 5 dagen) en handdoeken. Keuken- en theedoek waren helemaal niet aanwezig. Geen lift (voor ons geen probleem maar als je slecht ter been bent moet je hier rekening mee houden). Zwembad is niet verwarmd dus geen gebruik van gemaakt in Maart;-) De verplichte schoonmaakkosten in het totaalbedrag vermelden voor een beter vergelijk met andere accommodaties.

Los grandes ventanales del salón y el dormitorio, orientados a poniente, tienen una vista preciosa a la ría pero reciben una gran cantidad de sol. Las cortinas oscurecen pero no impide que se calienten mucho, obligando a usar el aire acondicionado. Instalar unas persianas o toldos exteriores sería mucho más sensato desde el punto de vista ecológico.

Meet and greet very fast. The rep had someone else to meet soon afterwards Property said it was central which it was but when we asked the lady who greeted us how to get to the centre she directed us by car vaguely. We worked out by ourselves it was a 5 minute walk!

Shower was brilliant, kitchen fab , lounge lovely and the bedroom had the comfiest bed , and loads wardrobe space .
Location was excellent and the view was amazing .
Ferragudo had lovely fish restaurant we ate in twice - borda de cais on front , and V5 ex tapas .
Brunch in Rio had the best pornstar martini cocktail.
We had a really lovely holiday and would return .

We really liked the appartment. It is very well equiped. Beautifull sea view. Close to the sea and town center.
Great Apartment
This place has no real negatives. Great views and sunsets. Good sound proofing from neighbours. Easy access to beach and town. Shared parking or road parking was not an issue. One problem I had was sorted by Rental Valley within an hour. Meet and greet at check in was on time and communicate excellent.
Would book again.
