Nice apartment, incredible location, hot with no air con and poor coms from the host
Positive:
This is a really cute flat- well done out with a nice bathroom and separate toilet, large double bedroom and compact kitchen and living room. It is perfect for 2 people, but can contain 4 at a push- this means the fold out bed fills the sitting room. The attention to detail is welcome- coffee pods and luxury shampoo/shower gel etc. The location is incredible- the Louvre is virtually visible from the front door, and it’s 1 min to the banks of the Seine.
Negative:
It is compact, especially for 4, and the lack of air con made it warm during the heat wave! But if you can get over that I would highly recommend the property.
It was very difficult to contact the host- the link to confirm the security deposit didn’t work so I had to ring the host twice, booking.com twice and send multiple emails. It wasn’t until a few hours before arrival that the link was resent via WhatsApp, and only then were the arrival codes etc sent. This chasing up was stressful and not ideal, and this poor level of communication has affected my scores of the property.

The apartment is in a great location. It is nicely updated and highly functional for a comfortable extended stay for two people. The only minor inconvenience is the apartment is up one level from the street up a narrow winding staircase that is a bit of a challenge with suitcases the first time but easily overcome with some care. We would gladly stay there again.

A very comfortable, convenient and economical stay.
Positive:
Very central with access to metro stations and walking distance to many sights. The property was perfect for two people, very comfortable, clean with all facilities available. There was a boulangerie next door, a lovely bar next to that and a bistro at the end of the street with a mini supermarket two minutes away, everything we needed to enjoy our stay close to hand.
Negative:
There was very little natural light (the only window in the apartment was onto an internal well between buildings) which meant it felt a little gloomy. Equally it meant the apartment was very quiet with no traffic noise.

The curved staircase up to the first (in the U.S., it would be called the second) floor has settled, so the last few steps to the flat are an adventure with no handrail. The shower door does not close completely, so water leaks out onto the bathroom floor. The toilet tank takes 6-8 minutes to refill after each flush.

1ro.- si la estancia de las personas ( cuatro personas) es por tres noches, mínimo deberá haber mínimo de tres a cuatro tollos de papel sanitario, se tuvo que comprar kleenex, porque fue insuficiente.
2do.- es necesario poner aunque sea un cerrojo sencillo pero práctico en la puerta de la regadera, no hubo forma de cerrar esa puerta.
Volveríamos a ese lugar? Por supuesto que si! Muchísimas Gracias.

Un’esperienza altamente deludente
Viaggiamo da anni e non ci era mai capitato di dover effettuare un check-in alle 17. All’arrivo, verso mezzogiorno, ci è stato concesso di lasciare gli zaini ma non di accedere alla stanza, nonostante fosse già pronta. Ho chiesto con gentilezza una flessibilità sugli orari, ma senza successo.
Al check-out, la situazione si è ripetuta: non ci è stato permesso di lasciare i bagagli in custodia, neppure pagando un extra. Inoltre, il sistema di cauzione tramite link esterno da 300€ è stato piuttosto insolito e prevedeva decurtazioni in caso di condizioni difficilmente assimilabili a un normale soggiorno in hotel (come buttare l’immondizia, lavare i piatti, spegnere tutte le luci o rispettare rigidamente le 10:00 come orario di uscita).
Addirittura, alle 9:55 la signora delle pulizie era già pronta a segnalare il nostro “ritardo” al proprietario, nonostante fossimo ancora nei tempi.
Infine, la pulizia della stanza lasciava a desiderare: polvere visibile e capelli sul pavimento.
Nel complesso, non ci siamo sentiti accolti e non possiamo consigliare questa struttura ad altri viaggiatori.

Good location, wouldn’t recommend if it’s hot or you’re not a super heavy sleeper due to noise.

The location is excellent! Just a few blocks and you’re at the Louvre. There are several cute cafes within 1-3 blocks. Very close to metro and centrally located, particularly if you’re here for sight seeing. If we were just rating location, this would be an 8-10. Unfortunately other aspects make it a lower rating.
Negative:
The pictures on the website are somewhat deceiving. This is a very dark and tiny apartment (tiny apartments being par for the course for Europe though, to be fair). If you’re only planning to sleep here, are going during the winter, and are a very heavy sleeper, this is probably a fine stay for you. We went in the summer during a very hot stint and there is no air conditioning. The windows open into the middle of a 5 story building so there is little to no air flow making opening the windows fairly useless, and there was one loud and slightly operational fan for the whole apartment (it would randomly shut off but always turned back on). The apartment was hotter than the outdoors. It is also VERY loud. If the windows are open the street noise is very loud. You can hear all of the other people in the building. And if it rains it sounds like you’re under a tin roof. Luckily we only spent time there sleeping, but sleeping was often difficult due to heat and noise. We did fine with the stairs, but be aware that there is a steep and narrow staircase to get to the apartment if you have any mobility restrictions. Lastly you cannot enter or leave the building without a key (the door does not lock without the physical key itself) so if there is more than one of you and you ever plan on doing anything separately, you can’t. Two keys would be very helpful.

We were two adults and two children - the flat was big enough for us - just the table was for all of us little bit small.
We were there in the winter time, so we really appreciated the fully functioning heating in the flat
The place was clean, located in a very calm neighbourhood, just few minutes far from Louvre, very close to metro stations.

It was described that 2 are sleeping on a bed and other 2 on the sofa bed, but the sofa bed was so uncomfortable that I didn’t get to sleep at all on it. For the price that you pay it’s a nightmare and if the sofa is not changed do not book for more than 2 people. But for 2 people the price is very expensive.

La comunicación con el host es muy mala, esta comunicación está basada en mensajes automáticos que te avisan que si no haces ciertas cosas te descontarán dinero de tu depósito de seguridad, todo el tiempo estás inquieto que vayan a quitar más dinero del que has pagado.
El costo de la limpieza es excesivo. Además no te entregan un departamento limpio, el sofá, el colchón para dormir en el sofá y la ropa de cama del sofá tienen manchas desagradables. El check out es a las 10 am y el check in es a las 5 pm , con 7 horas para hacer la limpieza en un lugar tan pequeño esperarías que estuviera pulcro. Dejar tus maletas…. Que no se te ocurra, no te dejan y te avisan que en caso de que lo hagas también descontarán dinero de tu depósito.
Te solicitan dejar un depósito en un link que te hacen llegar fuera de la plataforma donde estás rentando. Esto no lo veo descrito en ninguna parte del anuncio antes de reservar. Si no mandas el depósito no te hacen llegar las instrucciones de check in.

A localização é óptima. Algum barulho por parte dos vizinhos, à noite e de manhã mas nada de grave. Escadas difíceis mas é só um lance de escadas. A minha sugestão é melhorar as horas de check in e check out porque sinceramente é uma desvantagem e nada a favor dos clientes. Check in as 17h que é final do dia e check out às 10h sem opção de deixar as malas é uma noite paga que não se usufrui do apartamento. De qualquer forma foi nos possível deixar as malas até as 11h no dia se saída, achei simpático e agradeço por isso. De resto tudo ok. Obrigada

Great location and easy to get in. It has all the necessary and the host instructions are helpful and proactive. It was comfortable but a bit noisy for a family with young kids.
I'd suggest to improve the level of personal touch and caring (i.e. a welcome kit with some water and suggestions, human contact, etc...).

Muy buena experiencia. El apartamento está genial situado. Al lado del Louvre y de otros lugares esenciales para conocer Paris. Tambien muy cerca de Chatelette Les Halles. Buenas comunicación con aeropuerto de Orly y con Disneyland.

Excellent place to stay, a real gem! I would definitely stay here again, if available (I can imagine it's fairly booked, especially during hi-season). We (Family of 4) stayed for 6 nights & the location, as my others say was simply fantastic. Nice, fairly clean apartment, sandwiched btw 2 houses as an annex on top of a really nice org. bakery-which is very convenient in the morning-seriously really love this place for its convenience! A few downsides from us: For 4 adults (teenagers are almost adults) it is very tight. There is not enough room to sit down in the kitchen/front room area for all 4. Only 2 hi-chairs for the bar & only 3 fit onto sofa. After 6 nights, it would have been nice to have a swiffer or similar just to clean the hair and the kitchen area, as the place got a little dirty. Last but not least: as convenient as the bakery is, they start working around 3.30am and the door slams quite a bit during the early hours of the morning - so keep that in mind if you sleep light!

The bakery below was excellent.
Everything was clean and in good condition.
The only two things we would add as feedback: the guest/sofa bed was under a class "sunroof"/window, and it rained a lot at night, and the rain was very noisy in the glass sunroof/window.
There are also no actual windows to outdoors, which is common in Paris, but good to know.

Great location, 5 minute walk to Louvre, subway and buses that take you to the must see places. The place was clean and good for 4 people. Things to improve:
Just two stools and one of them was broken, not very nice if you want to have a meal in the place.
Linens can also be improved.
There were not paper towels in the kitchen to clean

The good:
- Unbeatable location if you are doing touristy stuff! A block away from The Louvre, Seine and many other tourist spots.
- Modern and super clean space. A bit small but smartly designed so it’s still cozy. Love the little touches like USB port outlets for phone.
- Cute bakery downstairs called Tartine with the nicest owner lady. Great coffee shop just few steps away called Judy. Metro stations also nearby.
- Super quiet. You are flanked by other apartments on all 4 sides so you won’t hear the street at all!
- Very helpful and responsive host!
The not-so-good:
- The stairs are uneven and a bit dark. This is common in Paris though.
- There were some sewer smell sometimes, might be coming from the kitchen sink.
- The place could be a bit dark even with the skylight because the space is literally surrounded by other apartments on all 4 sides. Wish they would clean the glass to let more lights in.
- The shower door is misaligned so water spills out when showering.

Just a great location and perfect for three of us on a busy family weekend trip to Paris. Local restaurants and cafes easy to hand and history on your doorstep.

Stayed here with our two kids and had a great visit. The apartment was small but very well laid out and very comfortable for us. Nicely remodeled while maintaining lots of old school charm. Unbelievable location and it was quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Note that the place does have an elevator but it is still necessary to navigate few steep stairs.

The apartment is as described. The apartment is very neutral and small, the stairs are narrow and steep, the kitchen is basic and the location is great. We had good communication from the agent including a prompt reply (including video) when we had an issue with the window. The apartment was well heated and we could quickly dry clothes on the clothes airer (stored under the bed). While the apartment is clean it could do with a spring clean as there is some dust on frames and high shelves. The kitchen is sufficient to use a fry pan or microwave but more cooking than that would be difficult. The location is the real draw, with lots of small shops, cafes and supermarkets very close by and key tourist attractions within a short walk.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Paris. The location was superb, just one block away from the Louvre Museum and close to many restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. The place was small but cozy and smartly designed, with good closet space, a spacious bathroom, a cute dishwasher, a washing machine, and a towel warmer/clothes dryer. The internet was fast and reliable. The host was very responsive, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent apartment in an amazing location steps away from the Louvre. The apartment was clean, had great amenities, and matched the description, although it was a little tight for 4 people. In particular, the living room doesn't have a lot of extra room if the sofa bed is pulled out, but this is definitely not a deal breaker. There's plenty of room if only two people stay and the sofa bed is put away. Check-in was entirely seamless.
I'd definitely stay again next time I visit Paris.
