## Neighborhood
La maison est située en plein cœur de la vieille ville d'Albufeira, très proche de la plage et à quelques pas de nombreux restaurants, magasins et bars, ce qui en fait une destination touristique populaire. Bien que la maison soit située à l'extrémité d'une rue résidentielle sans issue, vous êtes au milieu de toute l'agitation, tout en étant dans un endroit calme et tranquille.

Vous pouvez facilement vous déplacer à pied ou utiliser les transports publics ou un taxi/uber pour voyager dans la ville. Si vous souhaitez explorer la région plus large de l'Algarve, nous vous recommandons de louer une voiture. Le stationnement dans la vieille ville d'Albufeira est difficile, nous vous conseillons donc d'utiliser l'un des parkings en périphérie de la ville et de marcher ou de prendre un taxi depuis là.

During the night it gets lively outside and theres lots of nearby places to go out to. Can be a little loud but with the windows and bedroom doors closed you can hardly hear it. The air-conditioning works well, and the apartment itself exceeded our expectations. Loved it!

Location was perfect, just of the main square and close to everything. Noise was not a big issue even considering the close proximity to all the bars. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great. The entrance door was the main issue.
Negative:
Finding the entrance was difficult only because I was not informed of the double red door, I had to ask the ice cream shop below. The double entrance door is ridicules, each door is about 1 foot wide, I am very slim and I still had to open both doors to get through, so a large or older person would has serious issues, as it opens onto an angled steep street, passers by would actually laugh at me trying to get out. Also loose plaster and paint on the wall inside entrance would crumble and fall on the ground every time I closed the door. Otherwise a lovely place.

CONS: the apartment needed a cleaning as it appeared not to have been occupied recently; shelves and cabinets had to be washed out; the floor had to be scrubbed and room deordizers were bought to place in the kitchen and in the cabinet under the sink.PROS: excellent location; shops, restaurants, beach, Flixbus and square all within 2 - 10 minutes easy walking. The downstairs bed was extremely comfortable and the ensuite was large with a nice walk-in shower. Plenty of dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils. The host was extremely responsive to requests and were diligently in responding to issues.

Property was quaint and mostly clean. We did have some ants, crickets and what appeared to be small roaches in the bathroom on the main floor. Not quite as advertised when it said at the end of a dead end street and provided the perfect calm and quiet space in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It was quite loud until about 3 am. We had what I believe was a drain cover of sorts on the floor of the send floor bathroom that was broken and created a bit of a hazard. The drain cover was right in front of the toilet and if we had accidentally stepped on it/in it it could have created an injury due to sharp edges. This also emitted a sewer smell. We did contact the property manager who did respond but there was no action to repair this during our stay.

Durch die zentrale Lage, war es jeden Tag bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut.
Wir hatten Probleme mit der Klimaanlage im oberen Stockwerk, da sie extrem tropfte, sobald sie eingeschaltet war. Wir mussten zwei Töpfe darunter stellen, weil sonst eine riesige Pfütze auf dem Boden entstanden wäre. Das Wasser ist bis auf den Nachttisch getropft auf dem ein Handy lag, welches zum Laden am Strom angeschlossen war. Gott sei Dank haben wir es früh genug bemerkt. Wir haben die Vermietung mehrmals über Booking angeschrieben und das Problem geschildert, aber leider ist niemand rausgekommen und hat sich um das Problem gekümmert. Außerdem ging das WLAN nur sehr schlecht und auch deswegen haben wir die Vermietung kontaktiert, aber leider haben wir nur schriftliche Anweisungen über Booking bekommen, die wir durchführen sollten, welche nicht funktioniert Haben.
Prima lokatie. Geen luxe appartement maar wel van alles voorzien.

Een leuk, Wat oud appartement, midden in het oude centrum van Albufera. Het was schoon en een keuken met alle gemakken voorzien. Wil je de deur uitstappen en direct om de hoek winkels, goede restaurantjes en bars hebben, is het de perfecte locatie. Het strand is op paar minuten loop afstand.

Het appartement heeft wel wat achterstallig onderhoud nodig. Stoelen zijn vies en barkrukken echt tot de draad toe versleten. Enkel een gordijn tussen woonkamer en slaapkamer. De badkamer beneden is groot genoeg en netjes. De douche boven zo klein dat je er net onder kan staan. S'avonds hoor je tot laat wel de muziek en het uitgaans publiek. Het appartement is moeilijk te vinden en een nieuw slot, op de overigens schattige voordeur, is geen overbodige luxe.

This air bnb was perfect for a few days in albuferia. The location was central to everything we needed, 3 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the heart of old town. This hosts were quick to respond and everything was communicated very well. The beds are comfy, apartment was clean and had everything you would need. It is in a noisy part of town, however you were not able to hear the noise in the room off the kitchen, only from the room upstairs. We would recommend and definitely stay here again!

La proprietà ci ha assicurato che avrebbe provveduto e abbiamo lasciato le chiavi per permettere l’intervento. Nessuno si e’ presentato nei nostri 3 giorni di soggiorno e quindi la finestra e’ rimasta aperta. La proprietà non ha fatto nulla e non si e’ preoccupata di sapere se l intervento era stato fatto.

We spent a week in the apartment this summer and we appreciated a lot! Location in old town is perfect, near to restaurants and beach. Despite a lot of animation nearby, we’re not disturbed by the noise. Equipment is made available (sponge, washing liquide…) by the host. Appartement was cleaned and perfectly as described in the app. Beds were very comfortable. We recommend!

The location of this apartment is perfect. We had a few issues with the apartment when we first arrived, but these were quickly resolved by the agents. We did not eat in the apartment, but it appeared to have all the facilities, should you wish to do this. It is a fantastic apartment and I would certainly use again.

Made the whole experience amazing. Located right in the middle of old town, surrounded by lots of great restaurants, the strip and a quick walk to the beach. Can be a bit loud but not too bad. The townhouse was beautiful, with a cute view from the balcony, great for pictures. Host were also really communicative, answered all our questions and more.

The property is perfectly situated, just up from the old town square. It’s right in the heart of things, with a grocery store only steps away. It’s an ideal base while in the town. It’s close to the beach, restaurants, and stores. Be prepared for a little bit of noise from the street as late-night revellers make their way home, but being at the centre of the action is well worth it. The property rental agency was responsive when things needed to be fixed. It’s a comfortable place in a great spot. We will be back

An excellent trip for the New Year weekend
Positive:
We chose this apartment for the central location as we were only in town for the New Year weekend. We were concerned the noise levels from the surrounding bars, etc. might be a bit much, but it was absolutely fine as any noise was fairly constant so we slept well. We didn't use the kitchen other than the fridge, but the apartment seemed well equipped if you wanted to self-cater. Lots of storage space for clothing, etc. We didn't use the terrace due to the cooler weather in December but it would be a great space to sit in warmer weather

There were only 2 proper chairs to sit on, the other 2 were camping chairs. We had 2 teenagers with us so didn't really need the chairs as the kids preferred to stay in their bedroom, but it wouldn't be great with 4 adults (or sociable kids), as the camping chairs weren't very comfortable.
There were 2 doors to enter the property - a split storm door - which was very narrow to get in & out of unless you unlocked both sides of the door - then a regular door just inside the storm doors. Both doors needed locked with a key and there was only 1 key for each door. It would be much better with either 2 sets of keys or with a Yale type lock on at least one of the doors so it's secured from the outside but can be opened from the inside without a key. It caused us some problems when some wanted to stay in bed for a sleep while the others went out as there's no door-bell. The choice was to lock them in or leave the door unlocked, and neither option was ideal.

Trotz Nebensaison, absolut Action im Umkreis. Jeden Abend Live-Musik in sämtlichen Bars, Restaurants in der Umgebung. Leider so laut, dass wir früher abgereist sind, da wir keine Nacht durchschlafen konnten. Musik bis in die Morgenstunden, vibrierende Bässe.
Wir sind absolut nicht Lärmempfindlich, aber das war uns zu viel.
Nicht nachzuvollziehen war die Reinigungsgebühr die wir bezahlt haben, da wir Müll etc. selbst entsorgen mussten beim Verlassen des Apartments.
Die Unterkunft an sich ist schön und war im erwarteten Zustand anzutreffen, einfacher Check in über eine Schlüsselbox. Lage: mitten im Altstadt-Zentrum, nahe Restaurants und Strand.

Air con leaking in upstairs bedroom drenched a pillow and corner of single bed. We communicated this but received polite replies but no action.
Asked for late check out but cleaners weren’t informed. We got a phone call asking us to leave followed by an apology when we explained that we
had been offered until 12. So poor communication between the various partners. All 3 of us used the downstairs shower as the upstairs one was tiny.

This property couldn't be closer to everything you needed, supermarket right across the street, beach 3 mins walk ( through the tunnel), bars and restaurants outside the door.
Beds comfortable, air conditioner great, modern kitchen with everything you need, great showers, small sun terrace upstairs which was private and easy to access. Had issues with WiFi when we arrived, Jacqueline got this fixed for us very quickly.
We travelled with two teenage girls and the location of this place allowed them to come and go as they pleased

The convenience of being so centrally located in the old town meant the nightlife noise was very loud and it went on until 4-5am. This is not the fault of the property as it is very close to a bar which provides live rock bands but if you are looking for a good night's sleep, this is not the place for you.
While the sun terrace was a lovely asset it could do with some attention, it could be so much nicer.

Logement très propre, belle petite terrasse sur le toit. Bien situé aussi, sur une rue piétonne. Plage facilement accessible et en plein cœur de la vieille ville. Parfait pour profiter du « nightlife ».

Musique très forte jusqu’à 3h du matin aux alentours, très audible de l’intérieur du logement. Prévoir des bouchons pour les oreilles! À éviter pour ceux recherchant la tranquillité.
Nous suggérons fortement de rendre disponible un 2e ensemble de clés pour permettre les allés et venus des différents membres du groupe.

Both bedrooms/beds were good and comfortable, and there were extra pillows for those who needed them. Showers are a little bit on the small side, but both had great water pressure.
Really convenient location for everything in Albufeira's old town. We were there in mid-October as the season was coming to an end, and the area was still pretty busy. It can get very noisy at night with some of the bands playing in local bars, so probably isn't ideal for very light sleepers or families with young children.

Great place if you’re looking for the nightlife. Located right in the center of the downtown, steps from restaurants and shopping. If you’re not into late night fun, it’s not the best option. During our stay, music from the surrounding bars was blasting until 2:30am one night, and just a bit shorter on other nights. We were surprised to read that other people found it very quiet.
Close to the beach, walkable distance to most local attractions. There are a few flights of steps (rental description mentions that) and basically two separate mini lofts with a kitchen/dining area, bedroom and bathroom on the second floor, and a bedroom, bathroom and terrace on the third. Vendors on the first floor. Place is *not* suitable for families with young children, even though the listing states it is, unless children are on the older side (no barriers/safety guards between the rooms and stairways, even an adult can easily fall down if not careful). AC in both bedrooms (lower floor AC was a little noisy). Beds and bedding were nice and clean, and so were the towels. Wiring for lights is not done properly, lower bedroom and bathroom lights were never out completely. Bathroom on the second floor was on a small side (not a big problem for us), but quite smelly due to the poor plumbing solutions. Terrace, while not large, could have been a nice spot to hang out, but the dead plants did not add any appeal, and here were cleaning tools scattered around. For a $150 cleaning fee it could have been a bit better organized.

We found it difficult to find so better instructions would have helped. However the local rep. did answer my call immediately when I phoned, I just would rather not have had to. Another set of keys would have been good to have.

Beautiful place in an amazing location. We absolutely loved staying here. It had everything you would want to make it a very comfortable stay. Cannot praise it highly enough!The terrace was a great place to relax.
