La maison est composée de 3 étages : la cuisine et le salon/salle à manger (avec canapé) au rez-de-chaussée, la chambre et la salle de bain au deuxième étage, et une petite cuisine mobile au troisième étage. Au deuxième étage, vous trouverez également la première terrasse avec vue sur la mer, barbecue et table à manger, ainsi que les escaliers menant à la terrasse sur le toit avec des chaises longues et une autre vue magnifique sur la plage et l'océan.
La maison est parfaite pour une petite famille ou un couple et peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes. Étant située dans une rue résidentielle, les fêtes ou tout type de nuisance ne sont pas autorisées et ne seront pas tolérées.
Il est important de noter que l'escalier en colimaçon de la maison est assez raide, ce qui la rend inadaptée aux très jeunes enfants ou aux personnes ayant des problèmes de mobilité.

Le cottage est situé en plein cœur de la vieille ville d'Albufeira, très proche de la plage et juste à côté de nombreux restaurants, magasins et bars, ce qui en fait une destination populaire pour les touristes. Bien que la maison soit située au bout d'une rue résidentielle sans issue, vous êtes au centre de l'agitation, tout en étant dans un endroit calme et tranquille.

Vous pouvez facilement vous déplacer à pied ou utiliser les transports publics ou un taxi/uber pour explorer la ville. Si vous souhaitez découvrir la région plus large de l'Algarve, une voiture de location est recommandée. Se garer dans la vieille ville d'Albufeira est un défi, nous vous recommandons donc d'utiliser l'une des zones de stationnement à l'extérieur de la ville et de marcher ou de prendre un taxi depuis là.

Unfortunately there was so many ants everywhere in the apartment and i wouldn’t describe it as accessible since there’s so many stairs and they’re so steep. It’s nice for a couple maybe a bit small for a family of 4 and the bed wasn’t made which was a bit annoying arriving at 1am. It is a party town so while the location of the apartment is great, walkable to the beach and town, we had very loud groups next to us since it is a party town… so yes overall great stay for south of europe during summer holidays but just want to be transparent

IF you rent a car and don’t love tricky parking- I recommend the parking garage down at street level- it’s a 3 min walk up.
Also recommend hopping on the escalator if you order uber or bolt- much easier for maps to locate you.
AND the staff at Tequila Loca right at the bottom of the walk up has great staff and super kind.

The apartment unfortunately did not meet the hygiene and quality standards presented on Booking.com.
Upon arrival, the property was visibly not properly cleaned. There were live and dead ants in several areas of the apartment, including inside kitchen equipment, dirty kitchen surfaces, unpleasant damp smell, and even personal items left behind by previous guests. Some blankets and furnishings were also not clean. In addition, the balcony door could not be properly secured, which created a genuine safety concern during the stay.
A particularly disappointing aspect was that I had to spend part of my holiday cleaning the apartment myself in order to make it usable and comfortable enough for my stay.
I reported all issues immediately after arrival and documented everything with photos and videos. The intermediary company managing communication between Booking.com and the property was polite, responsive, and genuinely tried to assist throughout the process, which I appreciated. However, despite these efforts, the overall condition of the apartment significantly affected the quality of the stay, and in my opinion the compensation offered did not fully reflect the seriousness of the issues encountered.
Based on my personal experience, the actual condition of the apartment was significantly below the standard suggested by the listing and rating displayed on the platform.

This place is as described - the rooftop is incredible and it is super walkable to the center of town and the beach. Parking is tough to find close by so if you have many bags it is a bit tough and the spiral stairs would not work for anyone with even the slightest mobility issues, but that is all explained in the listing! The biggest downside was that the bedroom AC unit wasn’t working well - they were very communicative but never actually came to fix it during our 3 night stay.

Our experience at this Airbnb was unfortunately quite poor. There was an ant infestation in the bathroom that worsened over time. The ants made their way into the bedroom and into our suitcases and bed. This made the stay uncomfortable. The house also had a persistent damp smell which added to the unpleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the listing was for 3 guests but only 2 beds were properly made with the third being a stained uncovered mattress.
One of the most frustrating parts of our stay was getting locked out of the Airbnb late at night without our phones and walkers and despite clearly communicating the urgency of the situation, the response from the host/company was extremely slow. We had to book a hotel for the night and when someone finally came to let us in, we were charged for the service which felt unfair given the circumstances.
Overall, I would not recommend this property. There are other places in the beach that offer better service, cleanliness, and comfort.

Our stay at the Fisherman’s cottage was fantastic. The place itself was accurately described and accommodated our group of four girls well. The listing is quite humble about the roof terrace but we absolutely loved it, it’s a split level terrace with a table and chairs on the first level and 2 sun loungers on the second level. The terrace is a real sun trap - we spent a lot of time up there! All beds were comfortable and plenty of linen was provided. The sofa bed in the living room does take up a bit of space but it is very easy to put away in the day time for extra room. The bathroom was great and very clean, not an issue but please note no shampoo/body wash was not provided. The place was excellently located, right in the heart of old town a 5 minute walk to the beach. There was minimal noise in the property and we all had great nights sleep. The only issue we had was that the electricity tripped on the first night but the host was immediately on the case and sorted it.

Die Wendeltreppe war sehr eng, normalerweise für uns kein Problem, aber mit Gepäck etwas mühsam. Die 2 Terrassen mit seaview waren wunderbar.
Das einzige Problem war der Stromausfall in den ersten 3 Tagen. Immer wieder fiel er aus, auch wenn wir den grünen Knopf im Strommasten betätigten. Das war anfangs sehr mühsam. Wir konnten nicht kochen, das Essen im Kühlschrank wurde schlecht und wir konnten die Handys nicht laden. Nachts wenn wir ins cottege kamen, mussten wir uns mit der Taschenlampe zurecht finden.
Wir waren stets mit Rental Valley per Mail in Kontakt, aber bis das Problem völlig gelöst wurde, dauerte es 3 Tage.
Allerdings bekamen wir auf unser Bitten hin € 150,00 Refund, was die Unannehmlichkeiten und die Kosten wirklich entschädigte. Damit waren wir zufrieden.

Booked this place for my birthday weekend and had an amazing time! The location is great if you want to go to the beach or if you want to just go to the old town for a walk. Our hosts were also very helpful and kind when we needed their help. Overall the house was beautiful, the hosts were accommodating and couldn’t have found a better place to stay!! Thank you again ☺️

Petits soucis d’électricité mais Rental Valley était toujours disponible pour répondre à nos besoins. L’appartement est parfaitement situé, à 5 minutes à pieds de la plage, 5 minutes à pieds du vieux centre et beaucoup d’activités sont disponibles aux alentours.

Our stay at Rental Valley’s place was amazing! The apartment had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, lots of linens and towels and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need including complimentary coffee, seasonings, cooking oils, pots and pans and many other amenities. The balcony and pizza oven were amazing and there was a bookshelf full of books to read (in english) which was a beautiful touch. The company was super responsive and check in/check out was seamless. Lastly, everything was within walking distance which meant we had lots to do during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful location and it was wonderful to stay in the heart of old town. I love that it was such a nice short, walk to the shops and restaurants. They were responsive if we ran into any difficulties, and the beds were super comfortable. The one recommendation I would make was related to finding the place. There is almost no places to pull over a car to unload luggage, so we had to figure this out on our own. It was a little bit stressful, but we eventually figured it out. Also I knew that there was no parking near the Airbnb, but I had no idea whatsoever where I could park and the parking signs were not always clear about whether you could park overnight. It took me about an hour to find a spot and it was a 15 min walk back. However, the walk is absolutely beautiful so I enjoyed it. This place is perfect for someone who is not using a rental car, however, it would be helpful to have very detailed instructions about unloading luggage and parking options – perhaps with maps.

Stayed here as the weather got warmer at the end of march, the location is perfect, with shops, restaurants, cliffs and beaches all within minutes walks.
The property itself was spotless upon entry, with an easy access key code lockbox coming and going from the property was as easy as at home.
The roof terrace was a great place to relax in the sun with a drink and the included radio, with a great view of the beach, main square, and sea all from the upper section.
This property played a key part in a great holiday, and I already cannot wait to return to Albufeira and this lovely home. Thank you so much for a great trip!

Although this stay was in a great location (if you choose to visit Albufeira), we found this stay completely unacceptable. The house itself smelt so disgusting, it was damp and felt mouldy. The most appalling aspect of the house was the absolute infestation of ants. We would be sitting down and they would crawl all over us, they would be on every plate we had and cutlery. I cannot express how many ants there were, it was disgustingly and appalling. Additionally, the wifi did not work so we had to use our own 4G. Although the hosts gave us a pitiful £11 each to cover this, that was not enough nor was it enough to compensate the awful trip and experience. I genuinely would not recommend this house to any single person. It also was a lot smaller in person and the balcony was slightly tragic at best. Stay away.

We enjoyed the location. Super central to old part of Albufeira, fairly quiet and the kitchen was well equipped. The multi-level rooftop terrace with views over the rooftops of old town and out toward the ocean was lovely. The communication with the staff was very responsive and I really appreciated that. Bathroom was a nice size and the water pressure was great. Washing machine worked well.

This property needs work - in many different ways. First, it could definitely be cleaner. The furnishings, especially in the rooftop terrace need an update, they were very dilapidated. The cloth cushions were worn and stained, the blue plastic cushions were water logged and we could not use them during our seven day stay. The spiral staircase is loose - feels a bit dangerous to be honest. The bathroom door has expanded and wouldn't close fully - only half way. The fan above the stove did not work. There's more but I am sure you get the idea. I get that this property is not a luxury stay and I knew that going in but would expect things to be in good working order and clean. Giving a negative review of this property breaks my heart because it has so much potential.

L'appartement est très bien situé, idéal pour explorer la région, et la vue depuis la terrasse est vraiment magnifique, un vrai point fort de ce logement. L'escalier intérieur est assez raide et peut être un peu difficile à prendre en main au début, mais on s'y habitue rapidement. Malgré ce détail, l'appartement reste un bon choix pour son emplacement et sa terrasse avec vue

Absolutely wonderful time! The place is perfect for 2 (anymore and it will be very tight) Amazing location and the balcony view is so peaceful. There was some issues with wifi which rental valley was responsive too. The only real issue we dealt with was the ant problem. Rental valley offered to bring us traps. We ended up getting our own and had them all over the house but regardless what you do they find a way in. And I’m talking at times we’d come home to 100s of ants in a spot not just a few here and there. It wasn’t the end of the world to us we’d spray and clean the area and be okay for another few days until we’d have to repeat the process. An exterminator is needed to fix that problem, traps aren’t going to do it.
Another thing I would suggest is to bring some towels. They only provide 2 kitchen and 2 bath for our entire month stay.
Overall the place is worth the money. You’ll be comfortable and you can’t find a better location especially for the price. Thank you for having us

The cottage was quiet and peaceful at the end of a small cobbled street. Easy walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops as long as you can navigate steps and hills (Albufeira is far from flat). This was not a problem for us in our late fifties. The accommodation had everything we needed and a few more bits such as olive oil, basic cleaning pack and a bottle of water left in fridge for our arrival. There are spiral staircases between each floor that we quickly got used to but found transporting drinks, food up to the terrace a bit of a challenge, worth it for the fabulous view from the top terrace. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Lovely Portuguese neighbours both sides who always acknowledged us with a smile and wave.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, aber doch weit genug vom belebten Zentrum entfernt, um nachts Ruhe vor den lauten Partygästen zu haben. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das Schlafsofa. Die Nächte waren leider fast unerträglich, da der integrierte Lattenrost so durchgelegen war, dass eine normale Liegeposition nicht möglich war und Rückenschmerzen am nächsten Tag vorprogrammiert waren. Ich würde die Unterkunft daher eher für zwei Personen empfehlen. Alles in allem hatten wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Albufeira.

This accommodation was beautiful. The views from both rooftop spaces were amazing and looked out into the ocean. The accommodation had everything we needed but was a little small for the four of us as when the pull-out couch was out, you could not walk through from the kitchen to the living area. Another thing to note was the tiny stairs that you have to walk on to get around the floors. They are extremely narrow and steep stairs that could be dangerous for children or older folks but we were okay with them. The owners were amazing and kept in touch throughout our stay.
The accommodation is in a perfect spot where we felt safe. It is walking distance to the main strip, the beach and the marina. There was lots to do and we wish we were able to stay longer. The nightlife was also amazing and walking home even alone at night felt safe as there are many other tourists. I would highly recommend this place and don't miss out on the incredible views it comes with!

Such an amazing location! Great for two people! Beautiful views, although the upper balcony was off limits as the stair case was broken which was a little bit disappointing as this wasn’t in the description. Had issues with the WIFI on the first day but it was quickly resolved the next day with maintenance visiting the property was a little bit inconvenient . Overall good stay!

Do yourself a favour and stay here!! This stay is amazing! I highly recommend! The rooftop terrace is insanely beautiful, we spent most our time up here laying in the sun and cooking our meals! We would walk down to the beach (5 mins) for multiple swims throughout the day. The stay is the most perfect location. Close to everything but also you feel like you’re away from it all the second you walk through the little gorgeous streets to the stay. The staircase was a really cool feature that we loved! The beds were very comfortable. They left a bottle of wine and everything we needed for cooking (spices, oils, salts, herbs, the whole works). The terrace is even better than the photos look! Book this place asap it was awesome.

Absolutely loved staying in this cottage for our trip. Had all the essentials in the kitchen which meant we could do a load of washing and make some cups of tea. So much space (for the two of us), beds were really comfortable and the roof top was such a perk. Location is very central but nice and tucked away so you can’t hear any of the bars or restaurants. Also about 2 minutes walk to the beach!

Be warned Albufeira is very hilly so there are slopes / steps to get to the property, plus steep steps inside, but aside from this very accessible.
The BBQ, cooking facilities and house made for a perfect base for a weekend in Albufeira.

Garbage was left almost full and smelling up the place.
There were several stains on the sheets of both beds and on at least one of the pillows.
They gave us 2 extra toilet paper rolls for 6 days... for two people
They have a washer in the unit but don't include detergent?? When asked about it they said and I quote
“About the washer detergent, I understand but if there is none left this is due to that the previous guest didn't buy new one. This is unfortunately not part of the package we offer at arrival.”
So they provide a washing machine but you could only wash your clothes under the condition that you buy detergent yourself or if the previous guest is nice enough to leave one for you??? Doesn't sound like 300+dollars a night service to me.
Rooftop had dust and debris everywhere, along with a broken umbrella.
This place is not well-maintained nor is it hospitable.
Its trash.. plain and simple.
Hosts are inconsiderate and unreliable.

Estamos muy decepcionados con el sitio en general. Para empezar, cuando llegamos la dirección no estaba nada clara. Tuvimos que dar muchas vueltas hasta dar con el sitio porque al poner la ubicación en Maps nos llevaba a otro. También para aparcar está muy mal, ya que está en el centro del casco antiguo. La zona era muy céntrica y tranquila y si estás buscando una zona con mucho movimiento esa es la indicada. La casa nos ha parecido muy incómoda y había muchas hormigas. Lo peor de todo fueron los aires acondicionados. En toda la casa hay dos, uno en la habitación de la segunda planta que hacía mucho ruido y otro en el salón del primer piso que no echaba aire frío, cada 15 minutos se desconectaba y era muy ruidoso. Después de intentar arreglarlo por nuestra cuenta nos dimos cuenta de que estaba roto y al ponernos en contacto con la propietaria, nos decía que el chico de mantenimiento iba a venir y aun seguimos esperándole. Os podéis imaginar el calor que hacía en la casa con 40 grados.

Very organised and pleasant host, the airbnb itself was fantastic and was bigger than expected once you considered its three stories plus the outside areas. Very nice location although very small sidewalks make it very difficult to access if your like us and walked from the bus. Other than that, amazing place, would definitely stay here again!

The place was very nice and four girls fit in there well. The sofabed was bigger than we thought and all of us slept really well. The location was good for a beach vacation, so close to the beach and restaurants. It was very touristy neighbourhood, which was fine for us. Recommend for a relaxing holiday.

Ein schöner Urlaub in dem AirBnb von Frau Leembruggen geht zu Ende. Die Lage ist unschlagbar, man ist in wenigen Minuten am Strand und in der Altstadt.
Die Kommunikation war ebenfalls super. Man erhielt unmittelbar eine Antwort und alle Anliegen wurden soweit möglich geklärt.
Wir können einen Aufenthalt in dem AirBnb wärmstens empfehlen. :-)

Really well equiped and designed for a short and longer term stay.. The personal touches that the owners have in place make this feell very homely.
Loved the architectural style and bring alongside long term albuferian residents. They are very tolerant of tourists who we observed to forget that they are near to peoples homes.
Of all the properties stayed in over a five week trip this was the best one by far.. Really spacious property for what is a small property on some levels

Albufeira an sich ist nur völlig mit nervigen, lauten und ekligen Briten verseucht. Lagos ist echt die schönere Stadt an der Algarve.

Couldn’t be in a better location. Our stay for a week was great. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen we were able to cook most meals. The rooftop made it one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed - completely private with an outdoor grill and table, we had dinner watching the sunset every night. We were in walking distance to the beach, hundreds of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. One of the nights we even (embarrassingly) locked ourselves on the roof… the local hosts responded to us within minutes and we’re at the door helping us within 20 minutes ! The location itself was not very busy so it was quiet at night. Only advice would be no young children or older adults as the spiral staircase could be hard for people who have trouble walking (it was completely fine for us though). Overall great stay and would come back!!

What a great apparement, plenty of space all the amenities required and very comfortable! The host was lovely and answered to any queries extremely quickly. Perfect location to explore and super easy access to the old town and beach! Will definitely book again!

El apartamento esta muy bien, pero el acceso en coche bastante mal

Lo mejor es la ubicación porque el apartamento esta a 5 minutos andando de la playa y del centro.
Negative:
Lo peor es el acceso al apartamento porque es una calle peatonal en la que no se puede acceder con el coche, con lo cual hay que dejar el coche en doble fila descargar y luego irte a buscar aparcamiento que es bastante complicado encontrar en esa zona. Hay que pensarse muy bien en mover el coche porque luego es una locura poder volver a encontrar aparcamiento. En cuanto a los servicios del apartamento esta bastante bien, eso si, si llevas una maleta muy grande lo vas a tener bastante complicado para subirla porque la habitación esta arriba y por las escaleras de caracol el acceso no es muy bueno, y las escaleras son bastante estrechas. Y en relación a la terraza de arriba que tiene en la azotea con mesa y sillas le faltaría poner una sombrilla o un techado de madera o toldo porque es imposible estar ahí durante el día del calor que hace. También destacar como negativo los ruidos sobre todo por la mañana temprano por los gatos maullando, perros ladrando, y algunos vecinos hablando.
