## Neighborhood
Situé dans le quartier paisible de Montinhos da Luz, le centre de Luz, avec ses boutiques, restaurants et commodités, est accessible à pied. Le centre historique de Lagos et ses parcours de golf primés sont à seulement quelques minutes en voiture !
Lagos est une destination de vacances idéale avec son centre historique animé, rempli de boutiques, de marchés, d’un port de plaisance, de bars et de restaurants. La région est réputée pour ses falaises spectaculaires, et nous vous recommandons vivement une excursion en bateau, en kayak ou en paddle pour les admirer depuis l’eau. Lagos offre un cadre pittoresque, une gastronomie savoureuse et une atmosphère chaleureuse. Située sur la côte, elle propose de nombreuses activités nautiques comme le surf et la voile. Il y en a pour tous les goûts et tous les âges dans cette région.
## Transit
Un arrêt de bus se trouve à proximité de la Quinta et permet de rejoindre Lagos. Lagos est accessible en environ une heure en voiture depuis l’aéroport de Faro, où vous pouvez également louer un véhicule. En train, le trajet dure environ 2,5 à 3 heures.
Lagos dispose d’une gare ferroviaire (avec des liaisons vers Faro, Lisbonne et Porto) et d’une gare routière (avec des bus vers la côte sud-ouest), mais notez que les bus et les trains circulent seulement quelques fois par jour. Vous pouvez facilement vous déplacer sans voiture grâce aux nombreux taxis et Ubers disponibles, mais si vous souhaitez explorer les environs de Lagos, la location d’une voiture sera un atout précieux.

Perfect place for a reasonable price
Very beautiful place, perfect swimming pool and BBQ, lots of privacy. Very strategic and quiet location. Kitchen is very well equipped. Rooms are spacious. Terracce is so nice. Parking without problems. Hot water in the shower without limitations. Only little con: The sofa is not good for sleeping for an adult.

Geweldig verblijf!!
De spacious cottage is ruim en rustig gelegen, veel privacy, wat wij belangrijk vinden.
Enkel het zetelbed in de woonkamer vonden wij niet comfortabel. Er is ruimte genoeg om daar ook een volwaardig 2-persoonsbed te voorzien. We kregen welk extra toppers om op de zetel te leggen dus dat hielp zeker. Karolina en Miszka zijn geweldige hosts die helpen waar ze kunnen en goeie tips kunnen geven over de omgeving! Wij raden dit verblijf zeker aan.

A különálló házat foglaltuk (Cottage), ahol zavartalanul pihenhettünk, de az egész nyaraló nagyon nyugodt volt az ott tartózkodásunk alatt. A ház nagyon jól felszerelt, hangulatos terasszal, kinti sütővel, az ágyak nagyon kényelmesek voltak. Jó a parkolási lehetőség. A közös medence is kellemes volt. A szállásadóink nagyon kedvesek voltak és minden információt időben megkaptunk. Könnyű volt a be-, és kijelentekzés is. Autóval minden környékbeli látnivaló percek alatt elérhető, és számos hangulatos strand elérhető max. 15-20 perc autózással. Bolt ugyancsak elérhető 5-10 perc autózással.

Great place to stay within short drive of beaches

Great location, suberbly equiped kitchen, everything is new and good quality. The kitchen has everything you could need, safe outdoor terrace for young kids, kids loved the playground and the pool. Great location. Extremely helpful and friendly hosts.
Negative:
Not that visible on the pictures but the property is dug into the hillside a bit with windows on one side only and with the car park ca 1.4 m above the terrace. Combined with the deep rooms it can be a bit dark inside. However the terrace is south facing and hence gets good amount of sun and the rest of the property is spacious and with good views.

Die 2 zusammengeschobenen Einzelbetten bilden doch einen sehr großen Graben.
Das bereits früher erwähnte Schnakenproblem besteht nach wie vor. Trotz durchgängig geschlossener Fenster und Türen konnten wir sie nicht loswerden.

The bathroom and shower were excellent.The photographs on the website do not represent the slope up to the property and the fact that the main house is at a higher level than the cottage. We did not use the pool. It is very close to the other rental properties with not much surround.

A Lovely stay
We had a lovely stay in Quinta do Liberdade. The cottage is private and spacious and equipped with everything you need. The host, Karolina is very helpful and always on hand to help with any queries. Due to the area the cottage is located a car is essential, although there is a local bus which is not that regular. Lagos is about 30 minutes away by car which is where the Intermarche hiper, Aldi, Lidl are located. We would like to return.

Der Aufenthalt im Cottage hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen. Die Begrüßung sowie der Kontakt waren sehr freundlich. Das Cottage ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es war ruhig und komfortabel. Die Umgebung (Steilküste und Nachbarort Burgau) sind gut auch fußläufig zu erreichen.Kleiner Wermutstropfen: ein paar ältere Staubflocken und Spinnenweben haben wir beseitigt und wir konnten kein deutsches Fernsehprogramm empfangen.

Świetny domek zapewniający prywatność i spokój,oddzielony roślinnością od parkingu i willi. Przestronne wnętrze, idealne dla 4 osób, w oknach moskitiery, przyjemny zadaszony taras. Jest tez basen, dość duży, ze spadkiem i głęboką wodą z jednej strony, ale dobrze zabezpieczony ogrodzeniem jeśli na terenie są małe dzieci. Dom jest na uboczu miasteczka, w okolicy piękne plaże, na które można podjechać autem. Gospodyni super :) - świetny kontakt. Polecamy to miejsce bez wahania ❤️

Ya llevamos 3 años alojándonos en quinta da liberdade y volveremos el próximo año.
La casa en perfecta con parrilla terraza amplia y una piscina a 1 minuto caminando. Está muy cerca de lagos luz y burgau que te permite ir a los pueblos y a la playa.
La calidad precio es muy buena y están disponibles en todo momento para solucionar cualquier imprevisto.
Seguiremos volviendo todos los años que podamos!

The whole quinta and the cottage were beautiful and we enjoyed our time there - it was sad to leave this place. Especially the location close to the main tourist spots of Lagos and close to the amazing beaches of the westcoast was a highlight.

Die Lage war für uns okay, aber zu Fuß zum einkaufen oder essen ist eigentlich nicht möglich. Dafür gelangt man direkt ab der Unterkunft auf den super schönen Wanderweg zwischen Luz und Burgau. Perfekt zum Joggen!
Der Pool ist auch sehr schön! Außerdem hat jedes Appartement einen Grill, den wir gerne genutzt haben! Die Anlage ist gepflegt.
Der Trockner ist Gold wert! Dieser wird gemeinschaftlich genutzt.

Die Unterkunft war 1A gelegen direkt am Meer. Die Beschreibung stimmte auch weitestgehend.
Ein genereller Kritikpunkt für alle Unterkünfte, die ich in Portugal besucht habe bleibt stehen: Die Fotos sind offensichtlich vom Neuzustand der Unterkunft gemacht worden. Tatsächlich waren Türen von Schubläden abgebrochen, Wasserleitungen/Dichtungen im Bad undicht und insgesamt die Unterkunft einige Jahre alt. Das ist alles in Ordnung und tollerierbar, es ist aber nicht fair diese Dinge nicht zu erwähnen. M.E. ist das eine Gegebenheit die länderspezifisch zu beobachten ist. Bspw. in Schweden (im letzten Jahr) entsprachen die Unterkünfte exakt der Beschreibung. Wenn etwas älter war, stand es dabei, wenn etwas nagelneu war ebenso.
Ich finde es wichtig dies im Vorfeld deutlich zu sagen. Das ist nur fair. Leider geht dies aus den vorangegangenen Bewertungen nicht hervor.

Sehr schönes kleines Häuschen (cottage) in kleiner Anlage. Perfekt und ruhig gelegen, um die Algarve zwischen Lagos und Sagres zu erkunden. Manche Möbel sind vielleicht erneuerungswürdig, ganz kleine Reparaturen auch ausstehend, was aber den schönen Gesamteindruck nicht trübt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft empfehlen.

The decor of the apartment may be a bit old-fashioned, but the furniture is comfortable and functional. The bathroom is quite large, and probably requires a slight modernization and cleaning of some nooks and crannies. However, overall our stay was pleasant and we didn't really complain about the quality and the rental price is very reasonable. A convenient place to park the vehicle next to the apartment. It's a bit outside the village and you might need a car for shopping or going to the beach.

La casa es tal cual se ve en las fotos y tienes todo lo necesario para que la estancia sea perfecta.
Utilizamos mucho la terraza para desayunar comer y cenar (eso sí, recomiendo llevar repelente de mosquitos) y también la parrilla para varias comidas.
La piscina estaba genial, fuimos con un peque de 3 años y la disfrutamos muchísimo.
La zona es muy tranquila y tiene muy cerca un supermercado continente donde puedes hacer la compra necesaria. Además, está cerca de lagos y de varias playas maravillosas.
La comunicación fue buenísima en todo momento, ya que tuvimos un pequeño problema con la ducha y con una sartén y lo arreglaron muy rápido.

O facto de não ter um simples pequeno almoço também não é comodo, pois é sempre necessário realizar uma deslocação com viatura.

Großzügigste cottage in einer perfekten Lage zwischen Burgau und luz . Kiki war super freundlich und immer zu Stelle. Dafür definitiv 5 Sterne. Jedoch ist das cottage etwas in die Jahre gekommen, insbesondere das Bad. Aber für den Preis auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Der Pool ist ferner gut gesichert , damit keine Kinder in diesem fallen können.

Great location! You do need a car. Beautiful quiet setting close to the walking trails. Centrally located between Burgau and Praia de Luz. It was a perfect place to relax and rest as we had been traveling Portugal and Spain for 8 weeks.

Maison bien placée pour visiter. Il a fait très beau, pourtant en Mars.
Jolie terrasse avec Barbecue. Vous pouvez aller à pieds jusqu'aux falaises qui surplombent la mer, et y marcher jusqu'au village par les sentiers.
Niels est très discret, bien qu'il habite juste à côté. Il répond très vite aux questions posées.
Dans la chambre, nous aurions préféré un lit de 160 ou 180 (plutôt que 2 lits de 90 collés, mais c'est un choix personnel, cela plait à certains).
Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour.

Sehr schöne Quinta zwischen Burgau und Luz, sehr ruhig, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Perfekte Ausgangslage um Lagos und die umliegenden Strände ganz entspannt zu erkunden. Niels und Viv sind super Gastgeber und halfen uns sehr!

Tranquilidade perto da praia do Burgau

Local tranquilo e perto das praias. Casa com boas condições, ter acesso à piscina partilhada foi uma mais valia para a nossa família. A zona de pátio e churrasco individual proporcionou fins de tarde maravilhosas.

Toller Urlaub, ein Surfer Paradis!

Es war sehr schön, die Besitzer und Brian mit seiner Freundin waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Die Besitzer selbst haben uns für die Kinder Spielzeug/Fahrzeuge gegeben, was natürlich super war! Die Lage ist super und man ist in Kürze an den schönsten Stränden der Algarve!

Leider gibt es nur eine Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer! Im Schlafzimmer wurden wir leider von Moskitos aufgefressen und es war sehr warm aufgrund der fehlenden Klimaanlage!

Nice little place with a good pool that is child safe and that my children love. Great bbq/outdoor eating area also. We have stayed here a few times before and would definitely go back as it’s perfect location for us, although it may be just a bit far out of you didn’t have a car.

Die Quinta ist ein sehr schöner Ort zum Urlaub machen. Wir haben alles sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet vorgefunden. Den Besitzer der Unterkunft haben wir nicht persönlich kennengelernt. Vor Ort waren aber Bryan und Manouk, die sich um alles sehr gewissenhaft und liebevoll gekümmert haben. Von ihnen haben wir Tipps für Restaurants und Surfspots bekommen.
Das kleine Häuschen ist als Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. Die Einrichtung ist schick und man hat viel Platz, denn die Räume sind wirklich großzügig geschnitten. Wir waren mit unserem 2 jährigen Sohn da und hatten eine entspannte Zeit. Babybett und Hochstuhl waren vorhanden, selbst der Pool ist mit einem Zaun gesichert.
Ende September/ Anfang Oktober ist eine sehr gute Reisezeit für diese Gegend, denn es ist noch warm, aber die Strände sind nicht überfüllt. Leider bekommt man nicht viel von Portugal mit, denn die Region ist komplett auf Touristen ausgelegt.

We were well received by Bryan and Manouk. The apartment was very well equipped, we liked the flowery and quiet patio, the kids liked the pool. We enjoyed the 20 minutes walk on the pathways by the cliffs, arriving at the beach and restaurants in Burgau. Many beaches at short driving distance, whether one likes busy or quiet ones.

Geweldig ruime cottage, apart van het huis, met alles wat je nodig hebt. Zelfs een Nespresso apparaat. De buitenplaats heeft ligbedden en zon tot ongeveer een uur of 4-5 (voorjaar). En een bbq! Zomers kun je gebruik maken van het prachtige en sfeervol gelegen zwembad, achter het grote huis. Zeer stil. Ligging is ideaal om allerlei kustplaatsjes te bezoeken en je kunt een prachtige wandeling langs de rotskust doen lopend vanuit het huis. Wij vonden het een heel fijn appartement en kunnen het iedereen aanbevelen. Viv en Niels zijn perfecte hosts en zijn zeer gastvrij met veel goeie insider tips.

Super netter Empfang. Es ist immer jemand da, falls man etwas braucht. Die Anlage ist super sauber, der Pool immer aufgeräumt. Unser Zimmer war recht kühl gelegen, ansonsten konnte man auch die Klimaanlage anmachen. Das einzige, was gefehlt hat war eine Spülmaschine :-)
Aber das ist natürlich meckern auf höchstem Niveau. Also absolut zu empfehlen!
Very lovely stay
We liked the welcome of Manouk and Bryan! At our arrival everything was very well taken care off, the cottage is nice and quiet. However the booking process was a little bit of a hassle with different contact persons. The kitchen is well equipped and we liked the bbqThe walk to Burgau beach is a good 30 min walk and very beautiful! If we come back to the Algarve we would definitely book the Quinta again.
